Banyan Group is committed to remaining the leading advocate of sustainable travel, with a focus on regenerative tourism and innovative programmes that elevate the guest experience.The RoleThe Senior Manager – IT Network and Infrastructure leads the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of the organization’s network, cloud, and infrastructure across all hotel properties and corporate offices. The role ensures secure, reliable, and scalable systems that enable operational excellence and superior guest experiences. This position oversees cross-functional and regional IT teams, drives vendor and partner performance, and aligns infrastructure initiatives with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and future growth.ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Strategy & Planning – Define and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business needs; lead capacity planning, architecture design, and evaluation of emerging technologies.Network Operations – Oversee design, deployment, and performance of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN across properties; ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and optimization.Cloud Infrastructure – Lead design and management of cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP); oversee SaaS integrations, migrations, and compliance with security and industry standards; optimize performance and cost efficiency.Security & Compliance – Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures across network and cloud infrastructure in partnership with IT Security and Governance; ensure compliance with global regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, PDPA, PIPL).Disaster Recovery & Continuity – Establish resilient infrastructure, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans to minimize disruption and safeguard business operations.Project Leadership – Manage infrastructure projects, upgrades, and deployments; oversee budgets, timelines, and vendor collaboration to deliver business outcomes.Team Leadership & Collaboration – Lead and mentor IT teams; drive cross-functional collaboration with application, security, and business teams to align infrastructure with broader technology strategy.Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintain up-to-date documentation of network architecture and configurations.Manage downtime and service interruptions with rapid recovery measures.Oversee vendor relationships, SLAs, and performance of ISPs, hardware, and managed service providers; assess and adopt new solutions.Travel occasionally to corporate offices and hotel properties for audits, training, and incident response.RequirementsMinimum 5–7 years in network and infrastructure roles, preferably in hospitality or multi-site environmentsDegree in Information Security, Computer Science or related fieldFortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent certifications (e.g., CCNP, MCSE) certification preferredProven expertise in network and cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), virtualization, and data centre operations.Experience evaluating and managing cloud components of SaaS solutions.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillDesirable SkillsExperience in hotel operations and property-level IT systems.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
