Our client, a fully remote, global company transforming how distributed teams buy, manage, and recycle IT equipment, is searching for a Senior People & Culture Manager who will shape the heart of their organisation. In this role, you'll be designing experiences that support employees from their first day and every milestone thereafter. You'll balance strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring the organization remains a place where people can do their best work, no matter where they are in the world.Who We Are Looking For...You are an experienced People/HR professional with a strong background managing global or distributed teams.You have a strategic, and business mindset.You are skilled at owning the full employee lifecycle and building systems that scale.You are passionate about creating spaces where inclusion, engagement, and belonging drive performance.You are knowledgeable about labour laws (especially Nigerian labour law) and comfortable managing compliance across multiple countries.You are a trusted advisor who partners effectively with leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.You are a strong communicator with high emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.You are autonomous, organised, and able to build structure in a remote, fast-growing environment.You are excited by the challenge of starting as a standalone function and growing a People team over time.Your Responsibilities...Global People OperationsYou will oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the team.You will ensure seamless processes that support team members across multiple countries.Culture & EngagementYou will champion the organisation's values and build initiatives that strengthen inclusion, well-being, and team connection.You will design engagement strategies that keep distributed teams aligned, motivated, and productive.Compliance & HR Policy ManagementYou will maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure they comply with labour regulations in Nigeria and other operational markets.You will adapt policies to support global expansion.Talent AcquisitionYou will work with leadership to identify hiring needs and manage recruitment pipelines.You will maintain a strong, human-centred candidate experience.Performance & DevelopmentYou will implement performance review cycles, career growth pathways, and learning & development programs.You will support managers in building strong feedback and coaching cultures.People Analytics & ReportingYou will track and analyse HR metrics to strengthen retention, engagement, and team performance.You will use insights to improve organisational health and guide leadership decisions.Leadership PartnershipYou will serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on organisational design and workforce planning.You will support change management and help shape People strategy as the organisation scales.What Success Looks Like...A seamless and consistent employee experience across all touchpoints from hiring to offboarding.Strong employee engagement, with measurable improvements in retention and overall team satisfaction.HR processes, policies, and compliance standards aligned with global best practices.A performance-driven culture supported by clear frameworks and ongoing development initiatives.A scalable People function that evolves with the company's global growth.To be considered for this role you should have...A bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.5+ years' experience in HR/People roles, including at least 2 years in a senior or functional-lead capacity.Experience supporting remote or distributed teams across multiple countries.Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law; global HR compliance knowledge is an advantage.Excellent communication skills and strong relationship-building ability with cultural sensitivity.High levels of organisation, process discipline, and comfort working autonomously.Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) is a plus.The Goodies...Competitive salary .Opportunity to build and lead the People function at a global, fast-growing company.A flexible, fully remote work environment.A collaborative and mission-driven team promoting global sustainability and impact.
