Senior Performance Test Engineer

DescriptionWe are seeking a specialized Senior Performance Test Engineer to lead and execute performance and load testing efforts. The core focus of this role is to design, develop, and execute test scripts using JMeter, and critically, to identify system bottlenecks with a strong emphasis on SQL optimization and.Net code analysis.RequirementsMinimum 3.5 years of progressive experience in performance testing and engineering.Mandatory Expert Proficiency with Apache JMeter for protocol-level scripting, correlation, and test execution.Strong Proficiency in SQL and Database Optimization: Demonstrated ability to analyze execution plans, identify inefficient SQL queries, and recommend optimal tuning strategies (e.g., stored procedures, indexing).Strong Proficiency in.Net Performance Profiling: Experience using tools (e.g., Visual Studio Profiler, dotTrace, ANTS Performance Profiler) to analyze heap usage, garbage collection, and identify bottlenecks in .Net applications.In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar) to analyze server-side metrics.Strong communication skills.Contract Duration: 3 months (Contract Basis)Work Mode: RemoteWorking Hours: UK hoursPreferred notice period: Less than 1 monthAre you ready ?Apply through careers@softwareloom.com
