Learn more about our mission, vision and values.   We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior PHY Software Engineer to join our team based in Kfar Saba, Israel. The role will involve active participation in the design, development, and validation of all G Physical Layer Radio Access Network technologies.Key Responsibilities:Take an active role in the full development life cycle of PHY features, from initial design through to integration in an end-to-end systemImplement product features in C++, using your expertise to produce highly efficient solutionsDrive system integration of new features, working with teams in the UK, Israel, and IndiaWork within a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art test tools – RF equipment, UE emulators, commercial UEsRequired Skills and Experience:Strong C and/or C++ programming expertise, with emphasis on real-time, multi-threaded softwareExperience of PHY Layer or Layer 1 for wireless communication systems (4G LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, or OFDM-based technologies)Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) conceptsHands-on experience in Linux environments, including multi-core, low-latency, and embedded systemsExperience with SIMD programming and vectorization for performance optimisation is a strong advantageFamiliarity with Matlab/Octave for algorithm design, prototyping, and verification is desirableEducation and Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related disciplineParallel Wireless is expanding the ecosystem for Open RAN with the GreenRAN™ energy-efficient Hardware-Agnostic technology.
