Senior Platform EngineerDuration: ASAP – 07/12/2026Workload: Full time hoursSetup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)Location: BrusselsWe’re seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to support and evolve the application platforms used by our client’s development teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement and manage changes to application platforms (Windows Server, AKS).Maintain platform software components and document support procedures.Collaborate with developers and architects to support solution design and deployment.Troubleshoot technical issues and propose platform improvements.Coach team members and participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.Must-Have Skills:4+ years managing cloud-native workloads in corporate environments.Deep experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and tools like Istio, Keda, Harbor.Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI).Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).Experience managing public cloud environments (Azure, AWS).Ability to follow conversations in Dutch & French, fluent in English.Nice-to-Have:Familiarity with technologies such as Hashicorp Consul, ArgoCD, Helm, Grafana, Citrix ADC, RabbitMQ, Azure ServiceBus, Chocolatey, Inedo Proget.Knowledge of Windows Server and Powershell DSC.Passion for cloud-native technologies and regulated environments.
