You will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality and financially successful projects while leading teams and strengthening client relationships across Queensland.Working closely with management and your project team, you will contribute to all aspects of project delivery from design coordination and procurement to contract management, budgeting and stakeholder engagement.What You’ll DoYou’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish, including:Preparing and monitoring project schedules and procurement programs.Administering head contracts, subcontracts, progress claims and variations.Managing project budgets and ensuring the project remains cash positive.Leading and mentoring project teams.Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.Identifying risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes.What You’ll BringYou are an experienced construction professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll also bring:Minimum 5-8 years' experience in a similar role within construction.Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.Strong financial and contractual management skills with excellent attention to detail.Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.Why Join Mettle?At Mettle, we’re not just building projects — we’re building the future.
