There is a lot of excitement around the future possibilities this critical and highly visible platform has to offer, with huge potential.As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you’ll be part of a team responsible for driving the modernisation of our Salesforce system to revolutionise experiences for our call centres and customers. You’ll interact with product owners and stakeholders, contribute to the technical conversations and ensure that what we build is best in class and fit for purpose. You’ll report to a Principal Engineer and will help him/her deliver on the technical strategy. You’ll mentor other engineers to bring them up to your standard.To achieve our goals, we are focused on enhancing our Salesforce division as a core part of the technology platform, enabling us to fully leverage the power of Salesforce to create the best possible experience for both our clients and internal teams. The work involves Apex, SOQL, and Lightning, alongside tools like Lightning Web Components, Flow, and custom configurations.What you'll do:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutionsBuild and enhance Salesforce applications, integrations, and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other cutting-edge technologies.Delivering innovation through software to automate processes that enable News UK to operate at scaleTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to meet business needsDocument technical designs, processes, and workflows to maintain a comprehensive knowledge baseSupporting our production systems What we're looking:Proven previous hands-on experience with enterprise Salesforce implementations, particularly with Sales and Service clouds, demonstrated by Salesforce Developer Certifications – App Builder and Platform Developer 1Familiarity with Agile software delivery and the use of tools such as Jira, GitHub and CI/CDExperience working with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, JavaScript, and Lightning Experience with 3rd-party applications (DocuSign/Conga) would be beneficialHighly developed listening skills, excellent customer service skills, and strong professional written and oral communication skillsAbility to coach and mentor more junior Salesforce Engineers Why Work With Us:Great work-life balanceCompetitive remuneration packageExceptional social package & special discountsSupplemental health & dental careTeam bonding eventsExcellent office location & facilitiesRelaxing & gaming areasFree bike parking & showersMore About PwrteamsJoin our fast-growing and diverse team at Pwrteams, where we provide premium IT and engineering nearshore solutions to our global customers.
