Location:North Athens About Ogenus Offshore Ogenus Offshore is a manpower company based in the UK and Greece, providing skilled personnel to the energy sector. We support our clients with workforce solutions for offshore and onshore projects worldwide. This role is on behalf of one of our trusted clients, an engineering company known for its innovative, high-quality temporary works and installation tools for offshore and onshore projects. Key Responsibilities • Design and verify unique structural installation tools for a wide range of offshore and onshore construction projects. • Perform and check detailed structural calculations by hand and/or with software, ensuring the technical quality and timely delivery of all designs. • Develop and review free body diagrams, support conditions, and load paths, and produce clear shear force and bending moment diagrams. • Translate client requests into practical, functional structural designs, supported by sketches, calculations, and reports. • Coach and mentor team members, helping them strengthen their technical skills and engineering judgment. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering. • Minimum 3 years of experience as a structural engineer, with hands-on experience in statics, beam theory, and structural design calculations. • Proven ability to produce and check free body diagrams, support reactions, and shear/moment diagrams for beams and frames. • Ability to explain and communicate structural assumptions and results clearly to clients and team members. • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and thrives under pressure. • Fluent in Greek and English.
