Settlement Officer - AU Experience

Job description:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Settlement Officer with experience in Australian home loan processing. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely settlement outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesSettlement CoordinationLiaise with lenders to ensure settlements occur on time.Follow up on post-approval settlement conditions, including payout figures, insurance, and booking settlements.Legal CoordinationCoordinate with solicitors to ensure accurate and complete settlement instructions.Stakeholder CommunicationCommunicate with external parties such as SMSF agencies and key stakeholders throughout the settlement process.Client UpdatesProvide timely settlement updates to clients and address any questions or concerns.DocumentationCoordinate with all involved parties to ensure all required documentation is prepared and ready for settlement.Settlement CompletionManage a high-volume caseload and ensure the timely and accurate completion of settlements.Qualifications & Experience1–2 years of experience in Australian home loan processing and documentation within a mortgage brokerage or banking environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven experience in banking documentation and home loan compliance.Demonstrated capability in the end-to-end home loan application process.Familiarity with Infinity, Apply Online, and HubSpot (preferred).High level of technological proficiency, including MS Office.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.Technical RequirementsOperating System: Windows 11 or macOS 13+Minimum 256GB storage8–16GB RAMDual-core CPU (minimum)HD webcam (720p)Noise-cancelling headset (preferred)Minimum 50 Mbps internet speed
