If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.Site AdministratorJob Pupose:Support Bayer Itaba Plant’s procurement operations by ensuring the effective sourcing of goods and services in compliance with the procurement protocol, budgetary guidelines and global standards.This role plays a key part in improving cost efficiency, supplier performance and timely availability of materials required for Commercial and Foundation Plant and Field Operations.Support Resource Mission Lead (Plant Controller) with cost tracking activities, analysis and reportingKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Procurement Operations StrategyCoordinate and execute budget plan according Bayer procurement policySupport Commercial, Foundation and Pre-foundation Plant and Field sourcing activities for both direct and indirect materials and servicesLiaise with internal departments (Finance, Production, Field, QT, PQ and Engineering) to consolidate procurement needs and specifications for both Opex and CAPEX itemsVendor ManagementManage Supplier selection, onboarding, performance reviews and relationship managementEnsure vendors comply with Bayers code of conduct, sustainability requirements and service level agreements (SLA).Maintain and update an approved vendor list in line with audit and complianceContract ManagementDraft, review and negotiate supplier contracts to optimize cost, delivery, and riskSupport Capital projects in the procurement phaseEnsure adherence to contractual obligations and address deviations promptlyPurchase – to – Pay ProcessRaising of purchase requisitions and conversion into purchase orders for all opex, production resources (packaging, consumable and CAPEX projects)Monitor Open orders and coordinate delivery timelines with vendor and warehouse staffReconcile deliveries with purchase orders and coordinate with finance for timely paymentsCompliance and AuditEnsure compliance with internal frameworks, procurement protocols and audit trailsSupport both internal and external audit with required documentation and reportingReporting and AnalysisPrepare monthly procurement dashboards (Cost savings, supplier performance, PO cycle time etc.).Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing procurement spend analysisResponsible for submitting Purchase requisitionRequired Qualifications:A Bachelors degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Business AdministrationMinimum CIPS level 4 or equivalent certification requiredMinimum 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing or agricultural processing environmentExperience in SAP & MS Office especially excel.Knowledge of purchasing and a basic understanding of the materials and supply chain management functionsAbility to manage the entire order to payment process.Process & Systems minded (SAP, reporting, Procurement tools).Location:Zambia : Zambia : KabweDivision:Crop ScienceReference Code:856074Bayer welcomes applications from all individuals, regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, physical characteristics, social origin, disability, union membership, religion, family status and pregnancy.
