This position performs various duties in the completion of our building projects. Successful candidates will be energetic, dependable, and take pride in producing quality results with a great attitude towards collaboration with team members.ResponsibilitiesWork under the direction/supervision of the Site SuperintendentLoading and unloading materials, cleanup, and miscellaneous dutiesAssembling or breaking down structuresFamiliarity with the materials, tools, and machinery usedTeam-oriented, ability to communicate effectively with co-workersEnsure all safety standards are followed when working on construction job sitesCommitment to ongoing training, strong work ethicOther duties as assigned.QualificationsThe Labourer must have a minimum of three years of construction experienceExperience with concrete is an assetAbility to work at a variety of locations, with a focus on Abbotsford, individually or in teamsMust be open to performing physical activities (Lifting equipment up to 50 lbs)Demonstrated ability to use manual tools and equipment safelyAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAble to work a flexible schedule, including night shiftsValid BC Driver’s License.Compensation & BenefitsExcellent Benefits Package, includes Life Insurance, Group Health & DentalVacation Pay and Sick PayProfessional and career development opportunitiesEmployee referral programAnniversary service recognitionPlease note that we can only accept candidates who are eligible to work in Canada.**No Recruiting Agency phone calls, please**
