Software Development Engineer - Smart Product Line

Ikotek is a specialized, USA-headquartered global provider of original design manufacturing (ODM) for IoT. We combine end-to-end design consultancy across program management, R&D, sourcing and production at our own manufacturing facilities to produce designs for our customers. Our role is to turn customers’ device dreams into IoT reality.ON-SITE, Monday - Friday with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.We are looking for: Software Development Engineer - Smart Product LineMain responsibilities:Support development of feasible Ikotek solutions to customers based on their application software requirements.Support API and software client development for Ikotek’s smart product line, including asset trackers, Telematics, POS, Smart phones, and other devices equipped with wireless, BLE, 5G, LTE, UMTS/HSPA (+), GSM/GPRS and GNSS modules. Development in Yocto OS or Android BSP and framework.Code debugging and software troubleshooting activities as direct support for software testing team.Support customers to solve BSP/Framework issues based on project requirements and use case.Support system stabilization, performance and power consumption optimization.Required qualifications:Bachelor's degree in communications, electronics, computer science and other related majorsAndroid or Linux Yocto development experienceExperience 7-10 yearsConversational EnglishWhat do we have to offer you?International environment and unique culture: we communicate openly with each other, assess ourselves honestly and enjoy working in a teamFoster “on the job” learning: we invest in development of our employees.
