Job Requisition ID #25WD92758We’re expanding our Product and Project Management teams in Novi Sad and seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the development of our cutting-edge AI platform for film production and post-production.You’ll collaborate closely with our founder, senior leadership, and our Machine Learning Engineering and Research teams to build next-generation solutions for Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio), our AI-powered VFX platform. This role bridges engineering, product, and business functions to deliver AI-driven solutions, streamline workflows, and shape the future of VFX technology.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & Project ManagementPlan and manage successful completion of software development releasesCollaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritiesBuild and manage cross-functional teams (internal and contract)Drive Agile development practices (Scrum, iterative delivery)Communicate release plans and progress to stakeholdersEvaluate project costs, risks, and benefitsPerformance ManagementMonitor team performance and ensure alignment with project goalsFacilitate clear communication and issue resolutionMake informed decisions balancing trade-offs and risksRemove blockers and adjust plans as neededTeam LeadershipAlign team efforts with organizational goalsMotivate and inspire team members to achieve excellenceFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationSupport career development through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunitiesAdvocate for the team’s achievements and needs across the organizationTechnical LeadershipMaintain a competent level of technical expertise to work effectively with team membersMaintain technical fluency to effectively support and guide the teamStay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologiesCoordinate with other Autodesk teams to align efforts and share insightsIdentify and champion reusable components and scalable solutionsQualifications5+ years of experience as a Software Development Manager in AI or high-end software environmentsStrong interpersonal, communication, and project management skillsProven ability to deliver well-structured project plans and communicate across teamsExperience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Notion)Ability to escalate effectively and seek support when neededFamiliarity with project management tools and best practicesCreative problem-solving and strategic thinkingTechnical or design background preferredBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
