Software Engineer (Backend Web Developer)

The Core Java/Backend Developer will primarily be doing backend enhancements for The Portal application.Web frontend, Android App, and iOS App will be interacting with the backend system so having a background on web and mobile application is a plus. Responsibilities: • Translate user stories into functional applications • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code • Work in a system that interacts with other systems through REST APls • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation • Conduct unit testing on written codes to ensure program perform per design at the unit level
