Software Test Engineer

Start: As soon as possibleDuration: Full time 40 h/week- Long-term positionLocation: Ljungby, on siteWe are looking for a Software Test Engineer who enjoys hands-on testing in a lab environment and wants to work closely with modern industrial machinery. In this role, your main focus will be on software validation, ensuring that new features and updates for embedded systems, displays, and connected machine solutions work reliably before deployment.You will be working with operational machines, embedded software, onboard displays, electronics, and IoT-based systems, but with a strong emphasis on testing the software behavior, functionality, and integration.Key responsibilitiesTest and verify software functionality on machines in operationValidate new features for embedded systems, displays, and connected solutionsOperate machines via onboard interfaces to assess software behaviorConnect machines to computer systems for software diagnostics and logsWork with IoT/connected systems to test communication, data flow, and system stabilityIdentify, document, and report software defectsContribute to test plans, test cases, and continuous improvements in the testing processJob requirementsTo be successful in this role, we see that you have: Experience in software testing, preferably in embedded environmentsUnderstanding of machine functionality or interest in learning how machinery interacts with softwareGood computer skills and experience working with diagnostics tools, logs, or test frameworksA structured, analytical, and independent way of workingGood command of English (Swedish is a plus, but not required)Hardware or electronics experience is a merit but not mandatoryApplication procedureA Maandag® recruiter will assess your application as soon as possible to determine whether you are suitable for an open position.About The CompanyIf you are a good match, we would like to receive a CV in WORD format with motivation why you fit this assignment, your availability and any scheduled holidays.Why Maandag Nordic?
