Solutions Architect

Blackroc is partnering with a Federal Government agency on a key program of work aimed at strengthening the integrity and security of large-scale national systems. This role plays a pivotal part in designing enterprise-level technology solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned to strategic business outcomes.As a Solution Architect you’ll provide technical leadership and architectural oversight across a major transformation program focused on risk, compliance, and data integrity uplift. You’ll collaborate with business leaders, architects, and delivery teams to design end-to-end solutions that integrate seamlessly across complex environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of high-quality solution architectures that meet business and technical objectives.Engage closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable technical designs.Provide oversight and direction across multiple technology domains, ensuring cohesive and aligned solution delivery.Resolve complex technical challenges and influence decision-making at program and enterprise levels.Represent the solution architecture in key governance forums and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.About You7–10 years’ experience in Solution Architecture or related disciplines, with proven success designing complex enterprise platforms.Strong experience designing or integrating solutions supporting fraud detection, risk analysis, or compliance uplift, with knowledge of data ingestion, validation, and analytics pipelines.Background in large-scale integration projects or enterprise data management solutions.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to bridge business goals with technical delivery.Comfortable operating across both strategic and tactical levels, balancing program and organisational priorities.Experience within large or complex environments such as government, health, or insurance sectors is highly regarded.DesirableBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural qualification.Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.This role will be offered as a12 + 12 month contract.To apply please send your resume or contact Nat at BLACKROC on 0430 292 875 or natalie@blackroc.co
