Whether beginner or advanced dancers, everyone leaves with enriched skills and cherished memories.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Special Events Intern at the SRI LANKA DANCE FESTIVAL™. Based in Colombo, this role offers a mix of on-site and remote work. The intern will assist in planning and executing the festival’s events, support event management activities, maintain communication with participants and vendors and provide exceptional customer service. Additional tasks will include coordinating event logistics and contributing to the overall success of the festival experience.QualificationsProficiency in Event Planning and Event ManagementStrong skills in Customer Service and CommunicationExperience in Sales and an ability to build positive relationshipsHighly organized with a keen attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in the events, arts or cultural industries is a plusProficiency in English; additional languages are an asset
