Job PurposeThe role is created as a maternity leave cover within the Customs team, reporting to Director – UK & Indirect Taxes. The role will be responsible for setting up key processes and controls throughout the organisation, keeping pace with the ever evolving CCEP business. The role will have visibility across the organisation day-to-day cross-border activities, and will play critical role in its supply chain. It involves interacting with key departments in the set up of processes and day-to-day partnering in customs related matters.Key Responsibilities Monitor duty accounts, registrations, preferential status, classification, etc. and align with BUs as required for CCEP group. Conduct compliance reviews to check accuracy of customs declarations and reporting pulled internally or received via third party providers. Manage commodity codes and partner with other departments of the SSC, or external parties, to ensure commodity codes are being classified and entered correctly into SAP. Lead customs-related cross-functional projects managing technical side and building positive relationships with stakeholders. Ensure duties are being processed correctly and reconciliations are performed. Build controls and procedures throughout various areas of the organization that has touchpoints with customs to ensure there are no gaps. Help build a blue print of supply chain models and update as going forwards to ensure all transactions have been verified from a controls perspective and assess how this can be taken forward as an opportunity. Work with tax department to ensure customs valuation aligned with transfer pricing models and also any co filling/packing models as appropriate. Ensure best practice, identify areas of improvement and build efficiencies where needed. Work in identifying cost saving measures through customs procedures, working capital savings and other measures. Work toward meeting internal KPIs as they are being defined.Key Stakeholders Internal: Tax; BU Finance Team; BU Supply Chain; NPI; RTR; Procurement; Legal; Treasury; PAC; Investor Relations; HR; Group Financial Planning & AnalysisExternal: CCEP Suppliers; CCEP customs brokers & carriers; local Tax authorities; Tax consultants; External AuditExperience Required Experience in customs is preferable or, an appreciation of customs related matters. Minimum of 4-5 years Accounting and /or Tax knowledge preferably in a SSC multi-national organization Fluency in written and spoken English Ability to address or escalate complex issues across the organisation Strong ERP experience essential, preferably SAPLanguage Capability & expert levelEnglish : Essential + other CCEP languageEducation & Qualifications Required MBA / Master’s degree / Bachelor’s DegreeCapability Required & Expert Level Analytical Thinking - Advanced Relationship Management - Advanced Finance Operations and Accounting - Advanced Corporate Finance and Treasury - Intermediate Audit and Risk Management - Intermediate System Literacy - AdvancedNiche Skills Knowledge on customs regulations within the EU and UK jurisdictions.
