Network & Infrastructure Engineer (Professional Behavior + Market Standard Skills)Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly professional, well-disciplined, and technically advanced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to support our office environment where client staff are operational. This role demands strong communication, ownership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to engage confidently with IT Support, Operations, and ISP partners.The selected candidate must demonstrate corporate-level professionalism, leadership in technical situations, and an ability to maintain high availability, security, and SLA commitments. Key Responsibilities 1. Advanced Network Engineering:Architect, configure, and manage enterprise-grade networks (Layer 2/3, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN). Implement advanced routing techniques: OSPF, BGP, static routing, inter-VLAN routing. Handle complex firewall policies, NAT structures, segmentation, and traffic engineering. Perform wireless site surveys, Wi-Fi optimization, and RF troubleshooting. Conduct capacity planning and network performance tuning. 2. Professional Behavior & Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain corporate-standard communication, clear reporting, and high discipline. Work collaboratively with IT Support, Operations, and ISP teams, ensuring professional engagement. Act as a single escalation point for critical incidents and demonstrate leadership during outages. Provide mature, clear, and solution-oriented interaction with client staff and internal stakeholders. 3. High Availability & SLA-Focused Operations Maintain 99.9%+ network uptime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance. Run daily/weekly network health checks with documented findings. Provide fast response to incidents with RCA, corrective actions, and future prevention plans. Ensure network compliance with client security, audit, and reporting requirements. 4. Security & Compliance Handle firewall hardening, network access control, zero-trust segmentation, and policy enforcement. Maintain updated documentation for topology, IP addressing, change logs, and device configurations. Apply best market practices in network security, infrastructure hardening, and patching. Required Skills & Experience (Advanced Level)Technical Skills:4+ years of experience in network engineering in mid-to-enterprise environments. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent.Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), QoS, and WAN optimization. Experience with SD-WAN technologies and multi-site network architecture. Mastery in troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues with packet captures and diagnostic tools. Professional & Behavioral Requirements:Highly professional communication (verbal & written). Strong discipline, punctuality, and task ownership. Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations calmly. Proactive attitude with commitment to solve problems end-to-end. Strong documentation and reporting habits. Certifications (Preferred) CCNP (highly preferred) CCNA (minimum requirement) JNCIS/PCNSE/Fortinet NSE certifications (added advantage)What we offer:Paid Time-Off (Annual, Sick and Personal)Maternity and Paternity Leaves (As per the company's policy)Medical InsuranceLife InsuranceFuel Allowance (As per the company's policy)Company Transportation (As per the company's policy)Recognition programs (employee shoutouts, awards, anniversaries, etc.)Collaborative and supportive team cultureLocation: Near Thokar Niaz BaigMode: OnsiteTimings: Night Shift (5pm till 2am)
