About BURNOUT Venture SyndicateThe hiring system is broken.Talented people are being laid off, filtered out by algorithms, or stuck navigating hiring processes that reward safe resumes instead of real ability.At the same time, small teams using modern tools can now accomplish what once required entire departments.We believe the future belongs to high-agency operators working in small teams to solve real problems.So we’re building something different.BURNOUT Venture Syndicate is a network of independent operators who collaborate on projects for companies that want to move faster and think differently.Instead of traditional employment, members of the syndicate form small teams and execute strategic and operational initiatives for growing companies.Location: RemoteThe RoleWe are recruiting Strategy & Operations Leads to join the syndicate.Members participate as independent contractors and work on projects based on their strengths, interests, and availability.Projects may include:Solving operational or strategic challenges for growing companiesDesigning better workflows, systems, or processesConducting research and analysis to support business decisionsWorking with small teams to execute high-impact initiativesUsing modern tools, including AI, to increase speed and leverageAll work is remote and organized around small project teams assembled from within the syndicate.Who We’re Looking ForWe are not looking for conventional resumes.We are looking for builders and problem solvers who think independently.People who thrive in this environment often:Question assumptions and think for themselvesLearn new tools quicklyConnect ideas across disciplinesPrefer solving problems over following instructionsHave built, improved, or fixed systems in the pastAre curious, adaptable, and comfortable figuring things outBackgrounds may include strategy, operations, startups, consulting, product, research, or other problem-solving environments.FlexibilityWe understand that many talented people are currently searching for their next full-time role.Participation in the syndicate is intentionally flexible.Some members may contribute part-time while exploring full-time opportunities.
