Role Description Wolsey Structural Engineering Ltd. is seeking a full-time Structural Drafting Technologist to join our team on-site in Calgary, AB. The role involves creating and managing technical drawings, shop drawings, architectural drawings, and building information models (BIM) to support structural engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards, and collaborating with engineers and project teams to meet design specifications. Qualifications Proficiency in Shop Drawings and Technical Drawing for structural applicationsExperience with Architectural Drawings and Building Information Modeling (BIM)Knowledge of Structural Engineering principles and best practicesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentationEffective communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD or Revit is advantageousDiploma, certificate, or equivalent education in structural drafting, engineering technology, or a related fieldPrevious experience in the design or construction industry is required.
