Through our vertically-integrated supply chain we grow, source, ripen, pack, process and market quality avocados & fresh produce - 365 days a year & across the globe.   With the largest avocado-growing footprint in the world, we are recognised as the leading #avoexperts and considered as the supplier of choice to both retail & wholesale customers whom we serve from sales offices in the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America & Southern Africa.   We're looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join our team in Kings Hill, Kent, UK on a permanent basis.  As Supply Planner at Westfalia Fruit, you will be instrumental in overseeing, managing and strategically coordinating our supply chain operations in the UK. This pivotal role involves driving precise supply forecasting, optimising inventory management and developing robust contingency plans. This role will best suit someone who possesses a strong understanding of inventory management systems and has exceptional analytical capabilities and business acumen. Responsibilities include:  Meticulously review and evaluate supply forecasts, directly influencing our market responsiveness and ensuring accuracy. Strategically manage optimal inventory levels, guaranteeing product availability while minimising costs and avoiding stockouts. Develop and implement robust contingency plans, proactively mitigating risks and ensuring seamless business continuity. Work closely with key departments like procurement, operations, and sales, fostering seamless communication and collaborative problem-solving. Identify areas for enhancement and implement innovative strategies to continuously improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and analyse market conditions, providing crucial insights that inform proactive adjustments and strategic decision-making.  RequirementsExperience we look for: Essential Must have a strong business proficiency English. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Agribusiness is additional benefit.  Significant experience in a similar role within the fresh produce, FMCG or food industry.  Experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., Green Commerce, Profix, 365).  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  Affinity with the fresh produce sector and knowledge of product seasonality. BenefitsWhat can Westfalia Fruit offer you?  23 days' holiday, plus national holidays   Hybrid working (3 days in office 2 remote)Company pension scheme   Company phone & laptopLife AssuranceMedicash Health plan   Please note that this position does not have a specific closing date.
