Job DescriptionSupply Strategy Development Manager Level: 5ALocation: London / Edinburgh / Dublin / AmsterdamReports to: Supply Strategy Senior Manager – PerformanceContract – Full time and permanentClosing date – 3rd DecemberAbout The RoleAs part of Diageo’s new Supply Strategy capability, this role is central to developing the analytics, business cases and strategic insight that shape our long-term supply direction. You’ll bring rigour, structured thinking and strategic curiosity to help build category-level supply strategies and support enterprise-wide decisions on capacity, investment and capability.You’ll work across manufacturing, logistics, procurement and category teams to understand where the business needs to go over the next 5–10 years, and you’ll contribute directly to key strategic questions around make vs. buy, capital investment and future capability needs. You’ll also provide strategic support for Tequila and European supply strategy.What You’ll DoDevelop category-level supply strategies aligned to corporate prioritiesBuild business cases and strategic analyses to inform supply investmentSupport make/buy evaluations, M&A assessments and long-term planningPartner with Manufacturing, Logistics and Procurement on functional strategiesProvide competitive and market intelligence to benchmark choicesContribute to network design and long-term capital strategyDeliver clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholdersWhat You’ll BringExperience in supply chain planning, category strategy or consultingStrong understanding of supply chain operationsExcellent analytical ability with structured, strategic thinkingAbility to influence cross-functional stakeholdersClear written and verbal communication skillsFlexible Working Statement-Flexibility is key to our success.
