Sustainability Analyst (Financed Emissions)We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and client-facing Sustainability Analyst to join our Financed Emissions team. In this role, you will help financial institutions — including banks, asset managers, and development financial institutions — measure, manage, and decarbonise their portfolios in line with the PCAF standard.At Pantas, we’re pioneering a new approach to how businesses measure, manage, and report their carbon emissions. Team members have ownership over outcomes and work closely with technical and product teams to deliver measurable climate impact.What You’ll Do:Client Strategy & Advisory – Engage directly with financial institutions to understand portfolio composition, sustainability objectives, and reporting needs. Provide advisory insights to align financed emissions measurement with business strategy.Financed Emissions Implementation – Lead end-to-end client onboarding and implementation for financed emissions projects, ensuring data integrity, seamless integration, and accurate PCAF methodology application across asset classes to build robust and auditable financed emissions reporting.Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a dedicated portfolio of clients, building strong, long-term relationships to ensure they achieve their sustainability goals using Pantas.AI-Enhanced Product Development – Work closely with the product and AI teams to translate client challenges into product requirements. Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback to propose, test, and assist in the implementation of new AI-driven features that automate client tasks and enhance decision-making.Training & Enablement – Deliver training sessions and workshops to client teams, empowering them to use Pantas’ financed emissions modules effectively and confidently.Market Development & Thought Leadership – Identify and pursue strategic opportunities with financial institutions, sustainability consultants, and regulators. Support events, partnerships, and outreach initiatives to strengthen Pantas’ leadership in financed emissions.What We’re Looking For:Experience: 2–3+ years in finance, sustainability, ESG advisory, or climate-related consulting, preferably in a client-facing or analytical role.Financial & Analytical Acumen: Strong understanding of portfolio composition, asset classes, and financial risk concepts. Ability to interpret emissions data and regulatory standards.Technical Aptitude & Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to understand and implement software solutions. Experience analysing large datasets to derive actionable insights, preferably using both standard tools and learning new AI-driven platforms.Sustainability Mindset: Passion for climate action, sustainable finance, and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, net-zero commitments, or climate disclosure requirements.Communication & Relationship Management: Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to engage senior decision-makers in banks and investment firms.Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
