Systems Administrator Abu DhabiFull time – on site Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced, motivated, high-performing, quick-learning, and passionate systems administrator to join our team to support our customer’s command and control system.This position is only open to UAE Nationals as defined by Federal Law No. 17 of 1972 on Nationality and Passports, amended by Federal Law No. 10 of 1975 and Decree Law No. 16 of 2017.The Systems Administrator will work within the Infrastructure Support Team to provide on-going operations and maintenance support of the Emirates Air Defense Ground Environment – Transformation (EADGE-T) Information Technology (IT) equipment and software, set-up administrator and service accounts, perform system tuning, perform diagnostics, install system updates, perform backups, and maintain system configuration/installation documentation to include:Systems IT DesignBaseline ControlSystem Integration & InterfacesSystems TestResponsibilities:Manage User accounts and Access to the EADGE-T, and Development computer systemsMaintain and Install system updates and buildsMaintain and update automated system maintenance processesMaintain and repair system software items (databases, installations, COTS products)Monitor the system’s operational performance and detect issues that may cause service disruptionPerform error detection and fault correctionPerform backups, archives, recovery, and restoration of the system in accordance with Technical Manuals, Operating Instructions, and ChecklistsTroubleshoot and repair user issues with the systemOccasional domestic and international travel to remote sites is requiredAbility to support off-nominal work hours to support mission needs (night and weekends)Required skills, qualifications and experience:Ability to work well in a team environmentRed Hat Enterprise Linux 7+ Systems Administration Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)Microsoft Windows ( Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016) Systems AdministrationMicrosoft Active DirectoryDomain Level Authentication and Single Sign On (SSO)VMware ESXi , Vsan, Horizon vSphere System AdministrationVirtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)Storage (NAS, SAN or similar)Shell scripting knowledgeApplication Servers JBoss, TomcatReady to make a global impact with Lockheed Martin?Apply today and help us build the backbone of our digital future.Equal Opportunities Statement:Lockheed Martin is committed to upholding principles of equal opportunity, fostering a work environment that is aligned with our core values of integrity, respect, and exceptional performance.
