Voyago, Transdev Ontario is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the hiring efforts for a brand-new Student Transportation division in Kingston, Ontario.This role is an incredible opportunity for a results-driven recruiter or experienced hiring professional who thrives in a start-up environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and wants to make a tangible impact on a new team and community.Your Role:Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be the driving force behind staffing a successful start-up for the new school year. You will partner with leadership to understand recruitment needs, define job requirements, and ensure alignment with company policies and current legislation. You will own the full recruitment cycle, from posting job ads and sourcing candidates to securing top talent and tracking progress in our Applicant Tracking System.This is not a remote opportunity, candidate must commit to working onsite in a Kingston location, with hybrid options possible after six months of proven success.Primary ResponsibilitiesPost all job opportunities and drive high-volume recruitment to ensure all positions are filled efficiently. Interview candidates, maintain accurate databases, and provide timely follow-up. Track and report recruitment metrics and progress regularly, providing analytical insights to support leadership and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute innovative social media and advertising strategies to attract candidates. Contribute to a positive new hire experience by staying connected throughout onboarding and beyond. Gather, audit, and manage all required documentation during hiring and onboarding. Work closely with Operations, Training, and other teams to coordinate a smooth, start-up-specific recruitment and onboarding process. Build local community connections and partnerships to support recruitment efforts. Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks, improve processes, and enhance recruitment outcomes.
