You will work closely with internal and external partners, manage tax risks, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Your work will help ensure our business meets regulatory requirements and optimizes tax positions.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport tax compliance and reporting for Singapore business units, including transfer pricing and tax incentivesManage relationships with external tax advisors to mitigate risksAnalyze tax law changes and incentive requirements to identify optimization opportunitiesAssist with BEPS returns, tax audits (Singapore and international), and financial statement auditsPrepare and review withholding tax, income tax, and GST returns, including GST ACAP ProgramsOversee tax provision processes and general ledger tax balancesDrive process improvements, including automation of tax provision and GST filingsMaintain centralized documentation and respond to information requestsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsBachelor’s degree in AccountancyMinimum of 3 years of experience in tax within financial services or an offshore Centre of ExcellenceStrong analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentIn-depth knowledge of Singapore tax law and practicePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsExperience with process automation in tax compliance or reportingABOUT USJ.P.
