Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - USA Tax & Benefits Supervisor!In this role, you will oversee USA tax and benefits operations, managing a team to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing payroll and benefits administration, identifying tax savings and compliance risks, and training staff.ResponsibilitiesLeadershipManage goals and prioritiesPlan team schedules and deliverablesMeasure team success and individual performance against goalsManage a team of peopleSupervise and/or prioritize team’s annual programs or daily activitiesLead by example and support a team with brand expectationsBuild relationshipsPromote department, team, and servicesHave a positive attitude and be resilient to changeContribute to ideas and brainstorming to address challenges and meet business needsSolve problems in a cooperative wayExecute on strategy to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals and servicesVendor Relations:Provide process analysis, examining the positive and negative outcomes during processingDemonstrate knowledge of end- to-end processesUnderstand and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)Be able to understand interfaces (ADP), details of the processes, and where ownership passes back and forthBe able to accept change and champion new processes and procedures Deliverables:Perform services and lead a team to meet regulatory compliance and controlsSupport audits and control reviewsLead teams and supportindividual activities to meet all SLAsManage activities via reportingGather data for reporting and dashboardsExpert use of spreadsheets and tools for analytics and reporting to analyze, problem solve, and prepare analysisQualifications we seek in you!Minimum QualificationsExperience of working in a busy, high volume and results focused administrative environment. Shared Service Center experience an advantage but not mandatory.Relevant team/projects leading experience is preferableExperience of working to set procedures and in a logical manner.Knowledge and experience of Workday, ServiceNow and software such as Excel/WordAbility to work towards tight timescales with high volumes.Customers focus oriented.Strong interpersonal skills.Clear communicator.Results oriented with the drive to complete a task/project.Responds positively to changePreferred Qualifications/ SkillsTechnical knowledge in United States Tax & Benefits processingTax & Benefits management knowledge for USAProficient in software applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Office)Proficiency in:Project management and related methodologies, and technical writingData analysis, accounting, finance, data forecasting, general ledger accounting, audit principlesDeveloping audit mitigation strategies, human resource administration, payroll administration, customer servicePhone skills, writing, productivity tools, time administrationResearch, regulatory interpretation, and applicationVirtual communication, defining agendas, and running meetings (in person and virtually)Soft Skills:Be skilled in: adaptability, negotiation, influence, writing reports, non-traditional problem solving, team building, increased independence, working well under pressureDemonstrate active listening, awareness of body language, emotional intelligenceBe a clear communicatorBe results-orientedDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective articulation and tone of voiceConverse at all levels of the organization including sharing technical expertise in simple, easy to understand concepts and examplesBe respectful, speak to motivate, and engage customers, partners, peers, and team Why join Genpact?
