Technical Claims SpecialistAbout the roleThis role is available to anyone who lives in Auckland, Waikato or Christchurch.This is a vital client facing role focused on investigating claims, liaising with clients and insurers to deliver an excellent standard of client service throughout the claims process.You will be responsible for managing and processing technical and complex insurance claims for clients, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.To represent ICIB BROKERWEB in a professional manner in all dealings with clients, insurer partners and all other interested partiesKey ResponsibilitiesHandle and process technical and/or complex insurance claims from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulationsReview and assess claim submission, verifying the accuracy and completeness of information providedServe as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims process, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questionsProvide guidance to clients on the claims process and required documentationConduct thorough investigations of claims, including gathering necessary documentation, interviewing relevant parties and assessing the validity of claimsUtilise investigative techniques to identify potential fraud or discrepanciesNegotiate settlements with insurers and clients to achieve fair and satisfactory outcomesAdvocate for clients’ best interests while maintaining a balanced approach to settlementsEnsure all client interactions and transactions are documented accurately and comply with legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain up-to-date records and manage documentation efficientlyEnsure all claims handled comply with regulatory requirements and company standardsStay updated with market trends and developments in the insurance industryCheck out our Seek ad:https://www.seek.co.nz/job/88738433?tracking=SHR-AND-SharedJob-anz-2
