We foster an inclusive workplace culture and will support you to grow and develop in your career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.There is a position available to join the Safety Technology Assets section of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Technical Officer where you will assist in the service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of electronic devices and systems, and road safety detection devices and systems.Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include Assist in the service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of electronic devices and systems, and road safety detection devices and systems and provide instruction to technical and non-technical staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems. Assist in the design, development and implementation of significant technical projects and assist in replacement programs and equipment tenders. Provide technical evidence on related equipment and specialist information to TMR Management and relevant Stakeholders as well as on behalf of the Government in a Court of law. Maintain databases and accurate records to assist in the management of assets and associated spare parts and supplies and comply with all relevant legislation, policy, procedures, standards, quality management and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
