Role Description Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute sales plans to increase market share in the poultry, dairy, piggery, and processing plant sectors.Manage and expand relationships with existing key customers, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction.Identify, engage, and onboard new clients within Zambia’s agriculture and processing industries.Promote and sell Nemchem Agri’s range of hygiene and sanitation chemicals, detergents, and disinfectants.Drive sales of Guanoboost, focusing on farmers, outgrower schemes, and agricultural funding agencies.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.Technical & Training SupportConduct on-site assessments, recommend suitable chemical and biosecurity programs, and demonstrate product usage.Deliver training sessions on chemical handling, hazardous substance safety, and biosecurity practices.Support customers with hygiene and cleaning program setup and optimization.Provide technical support to clients in troubleshooting or improving cleaning systems and results.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience in the poultry, dairy, piggery, or food processing industry, ideally with a chemical or hygiene background.Proven sales experience in agricultural or industrial chemical products.Solid understanding of biosecurity, hygiene programs, and cleaning procedures.Strong knowledge of farming systems and networks with both commercial and small-scale farmers.Basic agronomy or agricultural science background is a strong advantage.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across Zambia.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.Proactive, self-driven, and goal-oriented.Ability to train and present to groups of farmers or technical teams.Good report writing and computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
