Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise on-site and laboratory geotechnical testing activities, including soil, rock, and ground improvement tests.Ensure that testing procedures comply with project specifications, standards, and QA/QC requirements.Coordinate the preparation, calibration, and maintenance of testing equipment.Review and validate test results, compile reports, and communicate findings to engineers and project managers.Monitor testing schedules to meet project timelines and ensure timely submission of reports.Provide guidance and training to field and lab technicians on proper testing procedures.Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve testing-related issues.Maintain accurate documentation and records of all geotechnical testing activities.Qualifications & ExperienceEngineering degree or diploma in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.5+ years of experience in geotechnical testing supervision, site investigation, or laboratory work.Strong knowledge of soil and rock testing methods, laboratory procedures, and field instrumentation.Familiarity with geotechnical standards, codes, and QA/QC procedures.Experience in civil marine, dredging, or reclamation projects is highly preferred.Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.
