Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Conduct marine geophysics data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.Perform all types of marine geophysical surveys and independently execute survey interpretations.Interpret geophysical survey logs and provide accurate, objective reports to the Survey Manager.Participate in the calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of geophysical and survey equipment in coordination with survey technicians.Follow established policies, procedures, and QA/HSE requirements to ensure the effective, efficient, and professional functioning of the survey team.Respond to QHSE reports and implement solutions provided by the Project Surveyor.Liaise with laboratories regarding sample collection, analysis, and survey deliverables.Align work with NMDC’s business priorities while meeting customer requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or an equivalent professional qualification.Advanced knowledge of software such as PDS2000, CODA Seismic, DELPH Seismic, AutoCAD, Terramodel, survey software, and Microsoft Excel (including formulas), with strong presentation skills.Experience in civil marine or dredging and reclamation projects is highly preferred.
