THE OPPORTUNITYThe role involves providing comprehensive operational and administrative support to the underwriting function, ensuring efficient handling of new and renewal business. Key responsibilities include managing submission clearance, setup, and data entry for underwriting and pricing models, as well as coordinating catastrophe (Cat) modelling requests and resolving related queries. The position requires preparing and issuing quotes, certificates, binders, and policy documentation, while maintaining compliance with audit and credit control requirements. A strong focus is placed on data accuracy and quality through diligent monitoring of housekeeping reports, workflow tools, and the timely processing of security requirements such as Letters of Credit and Funds Withheld. The role also involves liaising with brokers, supporting new broker accreditation, and facilitating communication between underwriting teams and other stakeholders. Additional duties include overseeing treaty statement processes, ensuring quality assurance of risk recording instructions, transitioning tasks to offshore teams, and maintaining organized policy files. Overall, the position demands proactive management of underwriting workflows, strong attention to detail, and effective collaboration to uphold operational excellence.IDEAL PROFILEExperience with supporting a Property Insurance team would be preferred.Ability to understand individual (re)insurance contract details, such as notification requirements, security requirements, reinstatements, cancellation notices, etc. to provide reporting and management oversight.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to use discretion in working to resolve process issues that ensure the success of established global outsourcing models.Ability to work flexibly with speed and accuracy, particularly under pressure, to complete duties, particularly during peak underwriting periods.Experience supporting work allocation and working to SLAs/tight deadlines.Proven ability to prioritise and organise effectively, possessing a continuous improvement mindset.Proven experience in building and maintaining good working relationships.INTERESTED CANDIDATESPlease apply in confidence, no later than Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
