With 2,000+ searches and deep industry expertise, we deliver high-touch service and leadership talent that drives long-term value.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & PredictabilityOwn the operating model and financial targets, ensuring alignment with business performance and key value drivers.Implement monthly forecasting and variance analysis to increase accuracy, visibility, and accountability.Lead all internal and Board reporting, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.Growth & Resource AllocationPartner cross-functionally on capital allocation, balancing near-term growth with long-term investment in product and platform.Build frameworks to evaluate marketing ROI, CAC/LTV, and channel performance across multiple markets.Establish departmental budgets and P&Ls, creating operating rhythms that promote ownership and financial discipline.Evaluate strategic opportunities, including M&A and partnerships, that align with growth objectives.Operational Excellence & SystemsOversee accounting, audit, tax, and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy and control as the company scales.Lead the implementation of scalable finance systems and process improvements suited for a mid-stage organization.Build and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on precision, agility, and cross-functional collaboration.Strategic Optionality & ReadinessSupport fundraising readiness, including KPI design, metrics quality, and data room preparation.Develop pricing and monetization strategies that support evolving business models and revenue streams.Define key financial metrics that provide clarity and support future strategic decisions.Qualifications & ExperienceDeep experience in FP&A, strategic finance, and operational leadership.Hands-on operator comfortable managing details while shaping financial strategy at scale.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complexity into concise, plain-language insights.Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital planning, with a focus on value creation and performance management.Experience building trust with founders and boards through transparency and informed perspective.Proficiency with finance systems and technology stacks to support automation and scalability.Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and leading high-performing finance teams.Exposure to fundraising, M&A, or investor relations preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.How to Apply:Submit your resume.Our team will review your application.If your experience aligns with the role, we’ll reach out to discuss the opportunity further.Even if this role isn’t the perfect match, we’ll add you to our talent network for future opportunities.At NU Advisory Partners, we’re committed to identifying and placing exceptional leaders in roles where they can drive meaningful impact.
