Job Title: Vice President of OperationsIntelligent Audit is a fast growing freight audit & business analytics technology company helping our customers become smarter shippers - shipping to their customers faster, cheaper, and with less delivery exceptions. The individual with this position in our company will be expected, on a regular basis, to:General Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations for IA’s Operations including Carrier On-Boarding, Freight and Small Parcel Audit, and the Client and Carrier Service DeskFacilitate effective collaboration and communication between departments to ensure alignment with operational goalsAct as a liaison between departments to address and resolve operational challengesAct as escalation point for internal and external escalation requestsActively collaborate with stakeholders outside of the operational departments to ensure needs and requirements are identified and incorporated into the operational processesPromote a culture of teamwork and shared objectives across the operational teamsConduct regular Team MeetingsProcess Management and Continuous ImprovementMonitor existing processes on their effectiveness, risks and quality outputPromote and drive process standardization across all operational teamsIdentify and address process inefficiencies and recommend improvements with the objective to enhance productivity, quality, process capacity and mitigate risksUtilize data-driven approaches to assess process performance and drive continuous improvementAct as business representative and project sponsor, liaising with Product on system improvement effortsKey Performance Indicators:Monitor performance against established KPIs and provide reports to the leadership team as requiredIdentify and implement additional metrics aligned to the strategic direction of the organization and to ensure on-going process performance and risk controlPeople Performance Management:Mentor and coach team members on their performanceConduct periodic employee evaluations as scheduled by Human ResourcesWork with respective Department Management on overall employee performance and improvement needsWhat You Will Bring: Min. of 10 years in the transportation and supply chain industryProven track record of managing operational teams and processesAbility to identify operational risks and improvement opportunitiesExperience in managing improvement projects from requirements gathering, future state design and project executionExperience in managing change in a people and process driven environmentExperience in people and performance managementAnalytical problem solverProcess and quality oriented mindsetPositive “Can Do” AttitudeGoal orientedOrganizedAccountableJob is posted for remote for the most exposure in an 85% distributed workforce.
