A leading Australian mid-market private equity firm is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its high-performing investment team. The firm is known for its active, hands-on approach to value creation and a proven record of partnering with management teams to deliver strong returns across a diverse portfolio of businesses.Key responsibilities:Lead transaction execution across the full deal lifecycle – origination, due diligence, structuring, and portfolio management.Work closely with senior leadership to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.Drive value creation initiatives across portfolio companies, working directly with management teams to execute operational improvement strategies.Prepare and present investment papers and analysis to the Investment Committee.Mentor and develop associates and analysts within the deal team.Key requirements:3–8+ years of private equity or principal investing experience is essential.Strong deal execution track record and exposure to complex transaction environments.Commercially astute with the ability to assess risk, structure deals, and influence key stakeholders.Confident communicator with exceptional financial modelling and analytical capability.Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.This opportunity will suit an ambitious investment professional seeking a long-term career in private equity, working alongside an established leadership team with a strong performance culture and clear growth trajectory.Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
