Job DescriptionThis role is based in our 5 Howick Place, London office.What we're looking for We are looking for a Video Editor to join our internal video production arm at Informa Festivals in our London office. The ideal candidate has a great sense of storytelling through moving image and experience working with templated and generated graphicsThe video editor will be responsible for editing a variety of scripted video productions, event coverage, and creative video projects (shot in our in-house studio) across a dynamic range of event types and industries.Candidates that do not provide a link to an edited showreel will not be considered. What you'll do Edit various types of video including interviews, series formats, online courses, sizzle reels, content optimized for social media, and event footageSource stock music and stock footage when requestedCreate assets with After Effects to support edited footageOrganize and edit footage for post-production as well as archivingSupport the development of new video series for our brands, pitching ideas and researching the latest trends in video and social mediaWork with global brands and international teams QualificationsWho you are: A creative individual who can bring ideas to the table and is aware of the latest trendsAble to translate concepts and treatments into videoAn organized self-starter who is adept at problem-solvingYou have at least 1-2 years of experience editing video content in a professional environmentYou have strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and the workflow between themYou have an awareness of sound designExperienced in managing different aspect ratios, format, codecs, outputs etc.You are interested in developing a workflow with Generative AI usage to speed up the editing processYou are experienced in managing software, formats, codecs, outputs, etc.Candidates that do not provide a link to an edited showreel will not be considered.
