We produce high-quality audio–visual content for music videos, digital platforms, promotional campaigns, and branded entertainment. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing team.Position OverviewThe Video Editor will be responsible for editing, assembling, and delivering high-quality video content for Music Nepal’s digital platforms, YouTube channels, social media, and broadcast needs. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, and up to date with modern editing styles, music trends, and visual storytelling techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos, including music videos, lyric videos, short-form content, and promotional clips.Add sound effects, visual effects, transitions, graphics, and animations as required.Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and the creative team to achieve desired visual storytelling.Color grade and color correct footage to maintain brand and visual consistency.Create thumbnails, teasers, reels, and short promotional assets tailored to digital platforms.Stay updated with latest editing trends, YouTube standards, and digital content best practices.Manage and organize video assets, project files, and backups efficiently.Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.Job Specification:Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)Experience:More than 1 yearProfessional Skill Required:Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe, After Effects, Motion Graphics, Typography, Visual StorytellingOther SpecificationProven work experience as a Video Editor (music industry experience preferred).Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.Good understanding of audio synchronization, rhythm, and pacing—especially for music- based content.Familiarity with motion graphics, typography, and basic animation.Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, color, and detail.Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas and concepts.Preferred QualificationsExperience editing music videos, lyrical videos, or entertainment content.Knowledge of color grading.Understanding of YouTube optimization standards (thumbnails, formats, aspect ratios).Someone learning or having experience with AI will be given preference.Basic camera operation knowledge is a plus.
