DecisionPoint seeks a Videographer to film and capture high-quality video content supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role provides professional videography services for events, interviews, instructional materials, leadership messaging, and multimedia storytelling.The Videographer operates cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture compelling footage and collaborates with producers and creative teams to ensure visual consistency and adherence to enterprise branding and technical standards.This position is fully remote, with on-site travel required for filming assignments. Note By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.The Videographer willFilm events, interviews, demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional content. Operate professional cameras, lighting kits, audio equipment, and stabilization tools. Capture B-roll, scripted content, and live-action footage aligned with creative direction. Support setup and breakdown of production environments including lighting and sound. Work closely with the Video Producer, Art Director, and creative teams during shoots. Ensure proper framing, composition, exposure, and sound capture for all footage. Organize, label, and transfer footage, maintaining version control and file integrity. Provide light editing or assist editors as needed with footage preparation. Ensure all captured content supports mission messaging, accessibility, and brand standards. Adhere to deadlines, production schedules, and stakeholder requirements. Clearance RequirementCandidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.Education (Required)Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field.Experience (Required)Minimum 5 years of professional videography experience. Experience filming events, interviews, and mission-oriented content. Experience working with creative directors, producers, or communications teams. Experience setting up lighting, audio gear, and production staging. Technical Knowledge (Required)Proficiency operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, and production equipment. Strong understanding of lighting techniques, audio capture, and composition principles. Ability to prepare footage for editing workflows and transfer protocols. Familiarity with 508 compliance considerations for multimedia content. Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience supporting federal or DoD communications programs. Knowledge of color correction, motion graphics, or multi-camera setups. SkillsStrong visual storytelling and cinematography skills. Excellent attention to detail in framing, lighting, and sound. Ability to collaborate with creative, communications, and technical teams. Strong time management and ability to handle multiple assignments. Clear communication and ability to take direction in dynamic environments.
