Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages with mobility challenges, offering reassurance to families and caregivers while providing exceptional clinical support to therapists and healthcare professionals.We are looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our sales team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions.ScopeAs a Warehouse Technician, the employee shall support all departments in the branch by ensuring the Warehouse is clean, organized and stocked and will also be responsible to collaborate with all departments to ensure the efficient and accurate movement of inventory and assets as required.Position Reports To: Branch Manager or Supervisor depending on the locationRole And Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsShipping & ReceivingShip and receive multiple shipments of medical equipment from suppliers for stock and customer special orders using various inventory tracking and shipping software tools.Prepare and receive transfers of equipment from other National Seating & Mobility (NSM) locations.Notify Customer service Representatives and Seating & Mobility Specialists when items have arrived.Report damage, discrepancies upon receipt to manager.Create shipping orders and labels.Assist in the receipt, processing and unpacking of inventory.Process Mobility Devices and Equipment Put inventory away in the warehouse in a timely mannerOrganize the warehouse to ensure efficiencyExamine equipment returned from rental for damage or missing componentsClean and disinfect equipment returned from rental or demonstrationTrack down medical equipment for customers from our other locationsAssemble motorized beds, lift out chairs, commodes, and other home medical devicesAdditional SupportParticipate in monthly workplace H&S inspectionCleaning duties: floor, high rack frames, etc. Outside clearance of snow as requiredRemove cardboard and bagged garbage from the warehouseAdd and remove products as directedAssist sales or service personnel as neededAssist the other technicians with parts and other medical equipment stocksLearn new products to help identify equipment and components by attending in-store training sessions.Health & SafetyAwareness of public safety and security measures in place to prevent injuriesUnderstand how to dispose of hazardous waste materials in a safe mannerOther duties as assigned that include inventory or any other task.Competencies/SkillsBasic mathematical skillsRegularly manipulate items up to 75 lbs.Ability to climb ladders and rolling staircasesExperience operating pallet pump trucksCreative troubleshooter and problem solverGood verbal communication skillsGood attention to detailProven record for organizing and prioritizing daily tasksBarcoding experienceComputer savvy and knowledge of MS OfficeExperienced working safely in a fast-paced warehouse environmentWhy Join NSM?A rewarding career where you make a real difference in people’s lives.Employer-paid benefits, ensuring your health and well-being.RRSP matching program, helping you invest in your future.Generous paid time off, because work-life balance matters.Company-sponsored events, fostering a fun and inclusive team culture.Branded company attire, so you can represent NSM with pride.Competitive Salary, $20-$23If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a team that transforms lives through mobility solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
