Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtechWe are searching for the best talent for a Warehouse & Transportation Sr Analyst to be in Grecia, Costa Rica.PurposeThe Warehouse & Transportation Senior Analyst, Warehouse & Distribution in Costa Rica plays a vital tactical role, supporting the strategic objectives set by the Warehouse & Transportation Manager. This position is responsible for the daily supervision and execution of warehouse and transportation activities managed by the 3PL provider, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and service levels are maintained.This role acts as the primary point of contact for the 3PL’s day-to-day operations, translating strategic directives into effective execution while ensuring adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards. The Supervisor will also support the Manager in the initial setup of systems, SOPs, Work Instructions, and testing activities, as well as continuous improvement initiativesYou Will Be Responsible ForOperational Oversight & SupervisionCoordinate with the 3PL to ensure operations meet established SLAs, KPIs, and SOPs.Manage daily priorities, troubleshoot operational issues where applicable, and escalate critical issues as needed.Oversight of daily warehouse and transportation activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, shipping, and internal logistics.Ensure accurate inventory management, documentation, and compliance with FTZ and regulatory standards.Oversee scheduling and coordination of inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.Performance & ComplianceMonitor and evaluate 3PL performance as per JJOS Operating Systems, including service levels, safety, quality, and productivity.Conduct regular operational site reviews and audits, identifying areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including health, safety, and environmental standards.Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.Systems, SOPs, and Work Instructions ImplementationSupport the initial setup of warehouse and transportation systems, including system configuration, validation, and testing.Collaborate with the 3PL and internal teams to develop, review, and approve SOPs and Work Instructions tailored to operational needs.Lead or assist in the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities for new systems, ensuring readiness for go-live.Ensure SOPs and WIs are properly implemented, communicated, and adhered to by all operational staff.Regularly review and update SOPs and WIs to reflect process improvements or regulatory changes.Continuous Improvement & Cost OptimizationSupport the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Identify opportunities to optimize layouts, workflows, and transportation processes.Assist in cost control activities, including variance analysis and cost reduction projects.Communication & CollaborationServe as the operational interface between the 3PL provider and internal teams.Provide regular updates to the Warehouse & Transportation Manager on operational performance, risks, and opportunities.Facilitate effective communication and teamwork within the warehouse environment.Qualifications / RequirementsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONRequiredUniversity Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related.Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain operations.Proven experience in 3PL implementation, site startups, or operational transitions.PreferredExperience working in Free Trade Zone (FTZ) environments.Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticalsOperational experience in SAP IM or WMS systems including implementation, validation, and testing.Fluent in Spanish.
