Fans immediately reacted with heart emojis and called her beautiful. Recently, her film trailer with Dhanush was also released. Watch the video here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by F I L M Y G Y A N (@filmygyan) Tere Ishk Mein Trailer: After the strong reception to its teaser and soulful music, the makers of Tere Ishk Mein, Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, have unveiled the official trailer of one of the year’s most awaited films. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the trailer dives deeper into the raw, emotional and unpredictable world of Shankar and Mukti, a love story that pushes against reason, time and destiny. The new visuals offer a gripping look at the film’s core themes of love, loss and redemption, revealing darker, more layered shades of the narrative that the teaser and songs only hinted at previously. Aanand L Rai’s distinctive storytelling style, paired with the emotional depth of Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav’s writing, sets the stage for a powerful cinematic journey. The film marks Dhanush and Aanand L Rai’s second collaboration after Raanjhanaa. The filmmaker recently shared, “After our last film, there were emotions we never fully let go of. Dhanush and I kept revisiting that space — what happens to love when innocence fades, when time changes people. Tere Ishk Mein grew from that unfinished thought.” For Aanand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein isn’t just another love story; it’s a reflection of where he and his characters stand today: older, scarred, and still searching. At its core, Tere Ishk Mein explores the kind of love that refuses to stay neat or defined. It’s about people who love deeply and lose completely, and how that loss shapes who they become. Dhanush Lauds Tere Ishk Mein Co-Star Kriti Sanon At the recently held trailer launch of Tere Ishk Mein, Kriti Sanon opened up about the nuances of her character, Mukti, and the connection she felt with certain aspects of the role. She was joined by her co-star, Dhanush, who lauded the actress for her focused and dedicated approach towards her craft and this film. Speaking candidly, Kriti shared, “There are some things that did connect, though a lot of things that Mukti does I wouldn’t do, but I think in the beginning, there is a certain purity, you know, she’s almost naive. Where she believes in good, she believes in the good in people.” The film, directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, is an AR Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film is scheduled to release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 28th November 2025.

"Will not comment on this": Chirag Paswan after Rohini Acharya 'quits politics

Patna (Bihar) [India], November 16 (ANI): Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan on Sunday refrained from commenting on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rohini Acharya's decision to "quit politics" and distance herself from her family, while expressing empathy for her family's situation, drawing on his own experiences with personal crises, urged that the dispute be resolved at the earliest.Speaking to ANI on RJD leader Rohini Acharya's announcement that she is quitting politics, Paswan said he understood the emotional strain such moments create."I will not make any comments on this because I can understand the mental status when a family goes through such a difficult situation. I have also been through this," he said.Despite political differences, Paswan stressed that he has always regarded Lalu Prasad Yadav's children with warmth."We might have had political differences but I have always considered Lalu ji's family my own. Be it Tejashwi, Tej, Misa or Rohini, I have considered them my siblings," he added.Paswan added that internal unity empowers individuals to face challenges in public life. "I pray that this family dispute is resolved at the earliest. If there is unity in the family, a person can fight tough situations outside. The family must be going through a tough situation," he said.Rohini Acharya's decision to step away from politics has triggered sharp reactions and speculation within Bihar's political circles, coming at a time when the RJD performed poorly in the Bihar assembly polls, securing just 25 seats despite contesting on more than 140 seats in the 243-member state assembly. Meanwhile, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya on Sunday echoed the pain of a woman wronged, alleging that she was humiliated, abused, and threatened by her family members. She sparked a firestorm with her explosive social media posts explaining the pain of being ostracised, of being made to feel worthless, the burden she carries. In an emotional post on X, Rohini claimed that she was "humiliated," "abused," and even faced the threat of being hit with a slipper. Rohini, a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother, stood up for her rights and dignity. Her family and community expected her to compromise, but she refused to betray her values. The backlash was brutal - verbal abuse, physical threats, and ultimately, expulsion from her parental home."Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was humiliated, abuses were hurled, shoes were raised to kill her... I didn't compromise on my self-respect, didn't give up on truth... just because of this, I had to face insults. Yesterday, a daughter left her crying parents and siblings due to helplessness... she was forced to leave her parental home... she was made an orphan... I pray that none of you ever have to walk my path, and no house should have a daughter-sister like Rohini," she wrote. However, there has been no immediate response from the RJD or members of the Yadav family regarding Rohini's allegations. The comments come at a time when political developments in Bihar are drawing heightened public attention, as the ruling NDA got 202 seats, a three-fourths majority in the 243-member House. India stands out; emerging markets to outperform global equities over next decade: Goldman Sachs

New Delhi [India], November 16 (ANI): Emerging markets such as India are poised to deliver the strongest decadal equity market performance and stand out globally for their earnings growth, according to Goldman Sachs' latest report titled "GLOBAL STRATEGY PAPER NO 75 -- Building Long-Term Returns: Our 10-Year Forecasts."Goldman Sachs expects emerging markets to deliver 10.9 per cent annualised returns over the next decade, outperforming the US (6.5 per cent), Europe (7.1 per cent), Japan (8.2 per cent), and Asia ex-Japan (10.3 per cent) in USD terms. According to the report, the growth in emerging markets is expected to be led by strong EPS (Earnings Per Share) growth in China and India. For both India and China, the report sees improving shareholder returns as supported by policy reforms. On average, globally, they expect global equities to deliver solid long-term returns despite elevated valuations. "Our forecast of 7.7 per cent per annum (in USD) sits close to the historical median, supported by structural drivers such as nominal growth, profitability, and shareholder distributions," the report put out this week read. Earnings growth remains the primary engine of performance, it said."We expect global earnings -- including buybacks -- to compound at roughly 6 per cent annually. Dividends provide the rest of the return, while we expect valuations to ease modestly from current highs."India is likely to post the highest growth at 13 per cent CAGR, driven by strong economic fundamentals and demographic tailwinds, it said about India's earnings growth. On an overall basis, it noted that valuation remains a headwind, but it does not dominate the global equity market outlook. It reiterated that global equities will deliver solid long-term returns despite elevated valuations."Elevated US valuations argue for diversification, with a tilt towards Emerging Markets, where higher nominal growth and improving market structures modestly favour EM over DM," the report read. For the S&P 500 index, Goldman Sachs forecast an average annual total return of 6.5 per cent during the next 10 years, with upside and downside scenarios indicating a range of 3 per cent to 10 per cent. "We expect earnings will remain the primary driver of equity returns during the next 10 years." (ANI)

"Government will be formed before November 22": Chirag Paswan on Bihar Assembly poll results

Patna (Bihar) [India], November 16 (ANI): As the NDA emerged victorious in the Bihar Assembly polls, Union Minister and LJP(RV) chief Chirag Paswan on Sunday said that the government will be formed before November 22 in the state, as discussions are going on among alliance parties for the same. "It will be done soon. Discussions are going on. A sense of clarity will come on the blueprint of the government. I think by tonight, I will also speak with senior Union Ministers, and the blueprint will be ready by today or tomorrow. We have to form the government before 22nd November. It will be done," Paswan told reporters. It is noteworthy that the tenure of the Bihar Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on November 22, 2025.The NDA's 'tsunami' swept away the opposition RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, with the BJP emerging as the single-largest party with 89 seats, and the Janata Dal (United) finishing a close second with 85. The other allies of the ruling coalition also registered high strike rates, with the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJPRV) winning 19 seats, the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) (HAMS) winning five, and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha winning four seats. The parties of the Mahagathbandhan, including the RJD and Congress, suffered significant setbacks, and Jan Suraaj, which had hoped for an impressive debut after its founder, Prashant Kishor, conducted an extensive campaign, failed to open its account. The ruling NDA got 202 seats, a three-fourths majority in the 243-member House. This is the second time the NDA has crossed the 200-mark in the assembly polls. In the 2010 polls, it had won 206 seats. Mahagathbandhan got just 35 seats with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) winning 25 seats, Congress 6, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) - CPI(ML)(L) - two, Indian Inclusive Party (IIP) - one and Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPI(M) one seat. ‘They called it dirty kidney’: Rohini Acharya’s fresh outburst as Lalu family feud explodes

A day after she created a flutter in Bihar's political circles with a cryptic social media post, Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Sunday raised a series of allegations against her family members, saying she was abused, humilated and threatened by them. In a detailed post on X, Acharya said she had to endure this insult as she was not ready to compromise on her self-respect. 'Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was humiliated, filthy abuses were hurled at her, a slipper was raised to hit her. I did not compromise on my self-respect, I did not surrender the truth, and solely because of this, I had to endure this insult,' she said. The emotionally-charged post further read: 'Yesterday, a daughter, out of compulsion, left behind her crying parents and sisters and came away; they tore me away from my maternal home. They left me orphaned'. 'I pray that none of you ever have to walk my path, and no house should have a daughter-sister like Rohini,' she added. In another post, she further sharpened her attack on her family, alleging that they had called the kidney she had donated to her father, Lalu Prasad, a few years ago 'dirty'. Acharya said she was accused of taking crores of rupees and a ticket to contest the election by donating her 'dirty kidney' to her father. 'I got my father to have my dirty kidney transplanted, and today I am told that the same kidney is a curse,' she said. The 46-year-old had unsuccessfully contested last year's Lok Sabha polls from Saran. A doctor by qualification, she later chose to become a homemaker and settled with her Singapore-based husband. On Saturday, hours after the Bihar assembly election results were declared, Acharya announced that she was 'quitting politics' and 'disowning her family'. In a surprise post on X, she fired a salvo at Sanjay Yadav and Rameez—two close aides of her brother Tejashwi Yadav—holding them responsible for the party's debacle in the polls. 'I am quitting politics, and I am disowning my family. This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do, and I am taking all the blame,' she said. Later, while talking to reporters at Patna airport in the evening, Acharya alleged that she was thrown out of the house for questioning Tejashwi's associates. 'I don't have a family anymore. Go ask Sanjay, Rameez and Tejashwi Yadav. They have thrown me out of the family because they don't want to take responsibility,' she snapped when reporters asked about her post.

Is US looking to replace Ukraine's president? Ex-Kyiv PM reveals SHOCKING details

The United States is actively looking for a replacement for Kyiv President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a former Ukrainian prime minister said. According to Mykola Azarov, who led the Ukrainian government from 2010 to 2014 under the wing of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych, the process involved the US inviting various members of Zelenskyy's cabinet to Washington. 'I know that over about six months, the Americans have been actively talking to, meeting, and inviting to Washington certain politicians of the Kyiv regime. They are shaping an opinion about them, looking for a person who could replace [Zelensky],' he told Russian news agency TASS. A $100 million corruption scandal This comes amid the Zelenskyy government facing a war on two fronts—against Russia, and against its biggest corruption scandal since he came to power in May 2019. Alleged attempts to prevent independent anti-corruption agencies from probing too deep were also in vain, as public anger against the administration stopped them. As the probe's revelations—a $100 million kickback scheme linked to the energy sector—come to light, Zelenskyy has enforced punitive measures for the suspects to some extent. However, the public continues to boil, in addition to Ukraine's Western partners seeking assurances that Kyiv would continue its crackdown on corruption. 'The endemic corruption' revealed in the probe 'will mean [the European] Commission will surely have to reassess how it spends' funds on Kyiv's energy sector, an official told Politico. Washington's alleged role Mykola Azarov also claimed that this corruption scandal coming to light was proof that the US was involved in finding a replacement for Zelenskyy. 'If they [the Americans] were against this, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine would never have an opportunity to act in such a manner,' he pointed out. He added that it was hard to predict the outcome of Zelenskyy's possible resignation, because all the people who could manage the country if he were to exit 'were either jailed, or killed, or forced to leave the country'.

Anil Sharma Recalls Dharmendra’s Shelved Spy Film Sher: ‘He Was India’s James Bond’

Anil Sharma often credits the Deol family for shaping his filmmaking journey, especially Sunny Deol, with whom he delivered blockbusters like Gadar and its sequel. But long before he became synonymous with the Sunny-led cross-border action franchise, Sharma’s career was actually fortified by Sunny’s father, the legendary Dharmendra. The director’s early years in the industry were anchored by four back-to-back collaborations with the veteran star throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Unfinished Dream: Dharmendra As India’s James Bond Before Sharma and Dharmendra created Hukumat in 1987 — a massive commercial success that positioned Dharmendra as one of Indian cinema’s highest-paid stars — there was another film they hoped to make together. On Saturday, as fans across the country prayed for Dharmendra’s recovery, Sharma reached into his archives and revealed the poster of the long-lost 1986 film Sher, a project that was shelved before it could take proper shape. The poster shows Dharmendra shirtless, gripping a gun, his expression fierce and unwavering. Sharma revealed that Sher was envisioned as a full-fledged spy thriller, with Dharmendra playing an Indian version of James Bond. The tagline boldly declared, “To save humanity!” indicating the film’s sweeping ambitions. It was intended as an international co-production between India’s RSD International and Thailand’s Alkemal — an unusually global venture for its time. Scenes Shot, Music Recorded — But Fate Intervened Sharma shared that they had already filmed several action sequences and even shot a song composed by the legendary duo Laxmikant–Pyarelal on a set in Mumbai. He fondly remembered Dharmendra performing “highly stylish action and lovely comedy scenes,” bringing both intensity and charm to the role. The film boasted a strong ensemble, with dialogues penned by veteran writer Kader Khan. Its mahurat was held grandly at Mumbai’s iconic Hotel Sea Rock, just before Hukumat released. Yet, despite everything going smoothly, production abruptly halted due to what Sharma diplomatically described as “issues of the producers.” “I was almost a newcomer at that time. I wish this film had been made. It was an incredible script full of entertainment. But as they say, what happens is up to God’s will,” Sharma wrote, expressing nostalgia tinged with regret. How the Shelved Project Shaped What Came After Though Sher never materialised, Sharma and Dharmendra went on to make four hit action films together: Hukumat, Elaan-E-Jung (1989), Farishtay (1991), and Tahalka (1992). Years later, Sharma fulfilled his desire to make a spy film — not with Dharmendra, but with his son. In 2003, he directed Sunny Deol in the espionage drama Hero: Love Story of a Spy. His association with the Deols continued with films like Apne (2007), bringing Dharmendra, Sunny, and Bobby together, and later Singh Saab the Great (2013) and the blockbuster Gadar 2 (2023). What remains is a tantalising what-if: Dharmendra as India’s own Bond-like spy in the ambitious Sher, a film that could have further expanded the superstar’s already monumental legacy — but now lives only in memory and a single surviving poster.

India vs South Africa, Eden Gardens Test: 'The pitch is what the Indian camp wanted': Sourav Ganguly blames Gautam Gambhir and Shubman Gill

At lunch on the third day, India are 10/2 chasing a tricky target of 124 on an explosive Eden Gardens pitch that has become the talking point of the game. Since the pitches were relaid back in 2016-17, they have always been pace-friendly with a good covering of grass, thereby helping seamers and also helping batters to trust the bounce on offer. However, the ongoing Test match has seen a throwback pitch that took spin from the first day itself. Jasprit Bumrah did pick up a fifer on the opening day but uneven bounce was on offer from the afternoon session itself and spinners joined the party soon enough. This game is set to end within three days and the track has been next to impossible for batters. Curator Sujan Mukherjee has been criticized heavily on social media and by the pundits but Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) boss Sourav Ganguly has blamed the Indian team for the disaster. According to Ganguly, the surface being used was made according to the demands of the head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill. 'The pitch is what the Indian camp wanted,' said Ganguly in a chat with News18 Bangla 'This is what happens when you don't water the pitch for four days. Curator Sujan Mukherjee can't be blamed.' Temba Bavuma (55*) is the only batter to get to fifty in this game with KL Rahul's 39 being the only other score of 30-plus. As the game has gone on, the wicked inconsistent bounce has been the biggest threat for batters from both sides.

Mayawati congratulates sole winning candidate of BSP in Bihar Assembly elections

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 16 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati extended her greetings to the party's sole winning candidate in the Bihar Assembly elections on Sunday. BSP's Satish Kumar Singh Yadav won the elections from Ramgarh assembly constituency, located in the Kaimur district. It is worth noting that Yadav won the polls with a narrow margin of 30 votes, as he polled 72,689 votes. He defeated BJP's Ashok Kumar Singh, who had received 72,659 votes. From the Mahagathbandhan, RJD's Ajit Kumar was in the fray, who polled 41,480 votes. In a post on X, the BSP chief wrote, "Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to all party members for ensuring the victory of BSP candidate Shri Satish Kumar Singh Yadav on the Ramgarh Assembly seat (No. 203) of Kaimur district in the recently concluded general elections of the Bihar Legislative Assembly." हालाँकि वोटों की गिनती बार-बार कराने…— Mayawati (@Mayawati) November 16, 2025 However, Mayawati alleged that there was "repeated vote counting" and "combined efforts of the administration and opposition parties" to defeat the party."Although, under the pretext of repeated vote counting, the local administration and all opposition parties united to make every possible effort to defeat the BSP candidate, but due to the brave party workers standing firm throughout, the opponents' conspiracy could not succeed," she added. Mayawati said the win was achieved despite what she described as coordinated attempts by local authorities and rival parties to prevent the BSP candidate from prevailing. She credited the "firm resolve" and "courage" of party workers for ensuring that the "conspiracy of opponents did not succeed."The social media post reads, "Not only that, but despite giving tough competition to the opponents on other seats in this region of Bihar, the BSP candidates could not win the elections, whereas according to feedback, if the elections had been completely free and fair, the BSP would have certainly won many more seats, but that did not happen, so there is no need for the party members to be disheartened; rather, there is a need to continue working with even more preparation ahead." Expressing gratitude to all small and big office-bearers, workers and well-wishers, the BSP supremo praised the cadre for contesting the Bihar Assembly elections with complete dedication."Finally, heartfelt thanks to all the small and big office-bearers, workers, well-wishers, and others of the BSP for contesting the elections in this Bihar Legislative Assembly election with their blood, sweat, and complete dedication, and a call to remain fully committed with all might in Bihar ahead so that Bihar can become the land of the dreams of the most revered Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and respected Shri Kanshiram Ji, 'Sarvjan Hitaay Sarvjan Sukhaay'," the post added. The NDA's 'tsunami' swept away the opposition RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, as they won 202 seats out of 243. BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 89 seats, and the Janata Dal (United) finished a close second with 85. The other allies of the ruling coalition also registered high strike rates as Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJPRV) won 19, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) (HAMS) won five, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha won four seats. Facing major setbacks, Mahagathbandhan got just 35 seats with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) winning 25 seats, Congress 6, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) - CPI(ML)(L) - two, Indian Inclusive Party (IIP) - one and Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPI(M) one seat. While All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won five seats, and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) got one seat. (ANI)
