Could Yankees Be Enticed to Dump Ex-Top Prospect Who Has Hit ‘Ceiling’?

The New York Yankees’ outfield has some question marks heading into the 2026 season. Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger aren’t guaranteed to be back. Beyond these two, the Yankees have No. 4 prospect Spencer Jones knocking on the big league door. If Aaron Judge is fully healthy, he’ll be out there in some capacity. Giancarlo Stanton spent time in the outfield in 2025. And, also, the Yankees have a former top prospect in Jasson Domínguez, who appeared in 123 games in 2025. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Yankees handle this puzzle, but SNY’s Anthony McCarron suggested that the Yankees should consider a trade involving Domínguez. “There’s probably no way Domínguez goes anywhere, unless the Yankees include him in a blockbuster trade,” McCarron said. “But the Yanks are always on the lookout for such moves, aren’t they? Domínguez, one of the most-hyped prospects of all time, had an uneven first full year in the majors, batting .257 with a .719 OPS, 10 homers and 23 steals in 123 games. He lost playing time as the season went on and got only one at-bat in the playoffs (and promptly smashed a double). He’s a switch-hitter, but he was ineffective as a righty, batting .204 with a .569 OPS. TORONTO, CANADA – OCTOBER 03: Jasson Domínquez #24 of the New York Yankees smiles during the New York Yankees Workout at Rogers Centre on October 3, 2025 in Toronto, Canada. (Photo by New York Yankees/Getty Images) “We have heard for so long about how promising Domínguez is, it’d be kind of a bummer if the Yanks dealt him now, no? It would be fun to see what he becomes in pinstripes. And he’ll be just 23 in February. But if he’s just a bench guy again for the Yanks, maybe they should use his high public profile in a deal. It may depend on what the Yankees still believe about his upside. Was ‘25 a season that showed how close he is to his ceiling already or a leaping-off point before stardom?” Domínguez slashed .257/.331/.388 with 10 homers, 47 RBIs, and 23 stolen bases in his first full season in the majors. Some have talked about this idea of giving up on him early, but it’s important to note that he’s just 22 years old. He had some bad luck in the majors health-wise in 2023 and 2024 which seems to have soured him on some, but he was still the sixth-youngest player on an Opening Day roster in 2025. If there is an offer the Yankees can’t afford to turn down, sure. But, this is a kid New York should be continuing to build around. More MLB: Yankees Legend Takes Subtle Jab at Dodgers, Mookie Betts

YouTube TV Alternatives as Disney Pulls ESPN, ABC, More

Millions of Americans who rely on YouTube TV for live sports and popular entertainment channels, including ESPN and ABC, lost access to Disney-owned networks after failed contract negotiations between the companies. Newsweek has broken down what alternatives are available which show some or all of Disney’s channels. Why it Matters The blackout underscores growing tensions in the streaming industry, where disputes over carriage fees are increasingly impacting viewers’ ability to access key content, especially during major live sporting events and at a time when more consumers are turning to streaming platforms in place of traditional cable. What To Know The Walt Disney Company’s suite of channels, including ESPN, ABC, Disney Channel, FX, National Geographic and others, were pulled from YouTube TV on Thursday, after the companies failed to reach a new distribution agreement before the previous contract expired at midnight Eastern time. Both sides issued statements blaming each other for the standoff, which affects over 10 million subscribers nationwide. YouTubeTV said in a statement on X: “We’ll not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s TV products.” Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV. This means you will no longer be able to watch channels like ABC and ESPN or access recordings from these networks in your Library.— YouTube TV (@YouTubeTV) October 31, 2025 Meanwhile, Disney said: “Google’s YouTube TV has chosen to deny their subscribers the content they value most by refusing to pay fair rates for our channels, including ESPN and ABC.” Subscribers lost access to more than 20 Disney-owned channels, as well as associated content in their DVR libraries. File photo: The YouTube logo, taken in Munich, Germany, October 22, 2025. YouTube TV Alternatives for Disney Content As negotiations continue, subscribers looking to watch ESPN, ABC or other Disney content have several legal and legitimate options: Hulu + Live TV: Offers all Disney channels, including ESPN and ABC, as part of its standard package. Disney owns a majority stake in Hulu. A $89.99 subscription includes more than 95 channels. Fubo: Provides a comprehensive selection of sports and entertainment channels, including ESPN, ESPN2, ACC. The price is usually $84.99 but Fubo is currently offering $54.99 for the first month after a free trial. DirecTV Stream: Similar to Fubo, it includes ESPN and ABC with its “Choice” package and up, suitable for sports fans. Sling TV: Offers ESPN and Disney Channel through its Orange and Sports Extra packages, though local channels like ABC may not be universally available—it’s $46 a month. ESPN Unlimited and ESPN+: Viewers can subscribe directly for streaming access to live ESPN channels and exclusive content. ESPN Unlimited costs $29.99 per month, with access to ACC, SEC Network, and more. Internet TV services typically offer free trials or introductory discounts, enabling fans to watch live events legally while assessing alternate options. What People Are Saying YouTube TV said in statement on X: “Members, when we renew our contracts with network partners, we advocate for fair pricing to offer you the best TV experience. Our contract with Disney has reached its renewal date, and we’ll not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s TV products. “Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV. This means you will no longer be able to watch channels like ABC and ESPN or access recordings from these networks in your Library.” Disney told the Hollywood Reporter: “Unfortunately, Google’s YouTube TV has chosen to deny their subscribers the content they value most by refusing to pay fair rates for our channels, including ESPN and ABC. “Without a new agreement in place, their subscribers will not have access to our programming, which includes the best lineup in live sports—anchored by the NFL, NBA, and college football, with 13 of the top 25 college teams playing this weekend. With a $3 trillion market cap, Google is using its market dominance to eliminate competition and undercut the industry-standard terms we’ve successfully negotiated with every other distributor. We know how frustrating this is for YouTube TV subscribers and remain committed to working toward a resolution as quickly as possible.” What Happens Next It is unclear how long the blackout will last, as representatives from both Disney and YouTube TV have publicly stated their intention to continue negotiations. The outcome will affect millions of subscribers, especially sports fans heading into a major college football weekend ...

Yankees Surprisingly Not Expected To Pursue $120 Million All-Star: Report

The New York Yankees are known as one of the biggest spenders in the MLB during free agency, consistently pursuing the most talented players available. The Boston Red Sox are one of the teams that have experienced New York’s spending habits firsthand, losing out to the Yankees repeatedly in free agency over the years. Surprisingly, the Red Sox may not have to deal with the Yankees acquiring one of their top players this offseason. MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch believes that the Yankees are not expected to target $120 million All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman in free agency, despite third base not being one of the team’s strengths. NEW YORK, NEW YORK – OCTOBER 01: Alex Bregman #2 of the Boston Red Sox throws to first base to make an out during the fourth inning against the New York Yankees in game two of the American League Wild Card Series at Yankee Stadium on October 01, 2025 in the Bronx borough of New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) “The Yankees are still built to win now – and they’d better be, because Judge’s title window won’t stay open forever,” Hoch wrote Thursday. “It seems a safe bet that (the Yankees will) go into the season with Ryan McMahon at third base. “McMahon’s defense was a vast improvement over what they had at the hot corner previously, and even though his bat didn’t play up to expectations (.641 OPS in 54 games), he delivered a few clutch moments. McMahon is earning $32 million through 2027, which likely precludes a serious run at a free agent like Alex Bregman.” The Yankees traded with the Colorado Rockies before the trade deadline to acquire third baseman Ryan McMahon after dealing with issues at third base all season. The 30-year-old former All-Star slashed .208/.308/.333 with four home runs and 18 RBIs in 54 games played for New York. McMahon improved in the playoffs and was one of the Yankees’ most consistent performers, securing his role for next season. Bregman is a proven winner who has won two World Series and has never missed the playoffs in his career. Though New York does not appear interested in signing the three-time All-Star, that doesn’t mean the Red Sox are in the clear. It would be music to the ears of Yankees fans if another team swoops in and poaches Bregman in free agency. More MLB: Red Sox Predicted To Retain Former First-Round Pick, Per Insider

Dodgers Predicted To Add $427M Superstar On League-Altering 10-Year Deal

The Chicago Cubs took a huge risk by trading for Kyle Tucker last offseason. Now they’re facing the consequences as Tucker heads to free agency. Tucker’s free agency sweepstakes are expected to dominate the offseason. There’s bound to be a handful of teams vying for his services as he looks to land a massive contract. Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley recently predicted the Los Angeles Dodgers would be the ones to land Tucker on a 10-year contract this offseason. That’s similar to the 10-year, $427 million deal that Jim Bowden of The Athletic projected earlier this week. CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – APRIL 22: Kyle Tucker #30 and Ian Happ #8 of the Chicago Cubs celebrate a home run in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Wrigley Field on April 22, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. (Photo by Matt Dirksen/Chicago Cubs/Getty Images) “While the Blue Jays are busy pursuing championship bliss, the hot stove isn’t starting to heat up. And they can’t afford to just ignore that fact,” Buckley wrote. “They’re not. Their front office is already prepping for the offseason ahead, and it apparently could feature the biggest splash available. “They’re ready to spend, in other words, but so should be any team eyeing Tucker, who has a non-zero chance of fetching $400 million-plus on the open market. Expect all the typical big-spenders to get involved here.” The Dodgers are bound to be one of the top suitors in the Tucker sweepstakes. They need to add an outfielder to the roster, and there’s no better option than Tucker. Finding the money might seem like an issue on the surface, but the Dodgers aren’t the kind of team that struggles with the payroll. This idea makes as much sense as any. Kyle Schwarber Predicted To Sign Massive 4-Year Deal With NL Powerhouse

The Philadelphia Phillies fell short of the ultimate goal again this season. But they have a chance to improve the roster in the offseason. The biggest storyline of their offseason is the free agency sweepstakes of veteran slugger Kyle Schwarber. Schwarber’s contract ran out at the end of the season, and he’s projected to land a massive deal in free agency. There’s bound to be a lot of suitors in pursuit of his services. Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley recently predicted Schwarber would return to the Phillies on a four-year deal this offseason. PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – SEPTEMBER 26: Kyle Schwarber #12 of the Philadelphia Phillies goes to bat during the third inning against the Minnesota Twins at Citizens Bank Park on September 26, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Isaiah Vazquez/Getty Images) “It’s possible the Philadelphia Phillies are weighing big changes this offseason. After all, they’re basically backtracking in the World Series race,” Buckley wrote. “Since losing in the 2022 Fall Classic, they were next bounced out of the NLCS in 2023 and have lost in the Divisional Series each of the past two seasons. “Then again, Schwarber just completed his fourth season in Philadelphia, and all of them have been awesome, as he totaled 187 dingers with 434 RBI, so you understand why they don’t want to lose him. They’ll have enough money to keep them, though that might preclude them from adding a difference-maker elsewhere.” The Phillies need to do everything in their power to make sure Schwarber never plays a game in a different uniform. Schwarber is a fan favorite in Philadelphia. He’s also one of the best players on the team. Keeping him on the Phillies needs to be the team’s top priority, or they risk taking a few steps back this offseason. More MLB: Red Sox Urged To Sign $182 Million Superstar After All-Star Season

Cat Gets a Kitten, How Their Introduction Goes Leaves Owner ‘Scared’

Cat Gets a Kitten, How Their Introduction Goes Leaves Owner ‘Scared’

A video of an older male cat meeting a kitten for the first time has captured internet viewers’ attention, racking up over 1.4 million views on TikTok. The clip, shared by @myzoohousee, shows an adult cat and a kitten, both with similar tortoiseshell coats. If it weren’t for the text layered over, viewers might assume they were related—but they had just met. The text explains that the owner got the kitten on October 25 and introduced them within 24 hours. In the video, the older cat grabs the kitten’s head with his paws to hold him still while grooming him. When the kitten breaks away, the cat lightly paws his face, prompting the older feline to sit up. The behavior sparked concern for the owner, who turned to TikTok for advice, writing: “our older male cat keeps holding him and licking him, is this fine?” This was followed by, “I’m scared because of their size difference, and I feel like I introduced them too fast.” @myzoohousee #fyp #newkitten #myzoohousee ♬ Ain’t It Fun – Paramore How To Introduce a New Kitten to Your Cat Experts at Hill’s Pet Food say that, no matter how gentle or friendly your current feline may be, it is still a cat—territorial by nature and conscious of her place in the household hierarchy. Introducing a playful new kitten can stir up jealousy from lost attention, discomfort over shared spaces, and even bursts of aggression from constant disruption. With some thoughtful preparation, patience, and understanding of feline behavior, owners can make introductions smoother and help build a lasting bond that makes life with two cats truly rewarding. Step 1: Prepare your homeBefore bringing your new kitten home, take a toy or blanket to the breeder or pet shop to pick up her scent and leave it around your home so your current cat can get used to it. Prepare a separate room for the kitten with her own food, water, toys, and bedding to help her feel secure. This setup will be temporary until both felines are ready to interact comfortably. Step 2: Let them get to know each other’s scentKeep your resident cat in a separate room on the kitten’s first day to reduce stress and help both pets adjust gradually. Allow your older feline to smell your hands or items carrying the kitten’s scent, rewarding her with treats to form positive associations. Over the next few days, exchange their bedding and bowls, and let each explore the other’s space separately until they are both comfortable with the new scents. TikTok Reacts Stock image: A gray cat grooms a striped tabby on a blanket. So far, the October 26 video has received over 113,000 likes and thousands of views from cat lovers eager to weigh in. “He knows he’s a baby. He’s pinning him down to clean him to make the kitten smell like him. I’ve introduced all my kittens right away to my older cats and they don’t hurt them cause they they’re babies still,” said one user. Another posted: “The dominant cat in the household is always the one that does the cleaning/grooming. He is asserting his dominance and letting the little one know that he’s the boss. It’s normal.” A third wrote: “He is not aggressive toward the kitten, just letting him know gently he is the boss.” Understanding Feline Bonds Indeed, cats in the same social group show positive behaviors such as sleeping together, rubbing against each other, and mutual grooming—activities that help share and strengthen their scent. The U.K.-based charity Cat’s Protection said that, in multi-feline households, separate social groups can form, especially if introductions weren’t handled carefully or resources are limited. Even bonded cats may drift apart with age or stress. Signs of conflict between groups include hissing, fighting, blocking access to resources, or excessive focus on one another—often subtle but highly stressful for the affected feline. In this case, TikTok users seem to agree that the older cat’s behavior is not aggression, but affection—and that his efforts to groom the kitten are his way of saying, “Welcome to the family.” Newsweek reached out to @myzoohousee for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case.

Framber Valdez Predicted To Betray Astros For 5-Year Deal With NL Contender

The Houston Astros completely collapsed down the stretch. They fell out of postseason contention with a few games left in the season. Now they’re at risk of losing one of their better players in free agency. Framber Valdez is headed to free agency, and the Astros will need to give up quite a lot of money to re-sign him. But they’re bound to have a lot of competition in his free agency sweepstakes. Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley recently predicted Valdez would ditch the Astros and opt to sign a five-year deal with the San Francisco Giants this winter. SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 25: Framber Valdez #59 of the Houston Astros pitches against the Athletics in the bottom of the first inning at Sutter Health Park on September 25, 2025 in Sacramento, California. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) “He’s been one of the steadier starters in baseball over the past four seasons, compiling a 3.21 ERA and a 1.16 ERA over 767.2 innings pitched,” Buckley wrote. “A lot of rotations could use a talent like that, either plugged in as the ace or utilized as a high-end No. 2. While all of those destinations seem reasonable, our crystal ball sees the Giants making a splash in their rotation after heavily investing in their lineup of late.” The Giants desperately need to add another pitcher to their roster after trading a few arms away for Rafael Devers. Adding Valdez is definitely a possibility for the Giants. They have the money to make a deal like this come to fruition. If they want to close the gap on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West, they’ll need to make a big move like this. Cubs Urged to Re-Sign $400 Million All-Star Slugger

The Chicago Cubs are hoping to retain Kyle Tucker this offseason, but they know it won’t be easy with the large number of teams expected to pursue him. Tucker’s contract in free agency is expected to be around $400 million, a number that only he will command this winter. The Cubs have a lot of areas they need to address this winter in hopes of contending for the National League Central title next season against the Milwaukee Brewers. How much the Cubs are willing to spend in free agency this winter is unknown, but the organization is all-in on trying to build a winning roster. Kerry Miller believes the organization should pursue Tucker and build the roster around him. MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – OCTOBER 11: Kyle Tucker #30 of the Chicago Cubs swings the bat in the third inning during game five of the National League Division Series against the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field on October 11, 2025 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (Photo by Brandon Sloter/Chicago Cubs/Getty Images) “The Cubs have a bunch of free-agent pitchers they could look to re-sign, Brad Keller foremost among them after the sensational job the 30-year-old former starting pitcher did in the late innings this year,” Miller wrote for Bleacher Report. “But Tucker is the obvious choice for this spot, in part because of what lies in store for them next winter when all of Ian Happ, Seiya Suzuki and Nico Hoerner will be hitting free agency, and Dansby Swanson won’t be getting any younger.” Of the free agents the Cubs could potentially lose, Tucker is the frontrunner as far as being the priority. None of the other players mentioned are even in the same stratosphere as him. The question for the cubs lies with how the spend their money to build as strong of a team as possible. Essentially, the Cubs have two options: pay Tucker $40.1 million per year over 10 years and risk having a player of lesser quality at a different position, or use the money they would pay Tucker and spread it out to build a well-balanced roster. One important concept to note is both teams in the World Series have flaws in their rosters. The Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the worst bullpens in playoff history while the Toronto Blue Jays do not have much depth. Both teams would have loved to have fixed that issue by now, but it was their stars, such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Shohei Ohtani, who got them to this point and helped them overcome the weaknesses. Moment Rescue Dogs Finally Get To Run Around New Yard: 'Zoomies Unlocked'

After years of apartment living, a woman shared the moment she finally got to introduce her rescue dogs to their new fenced yard—and their reactions didn’t disappoint. Dog owner Samantha Durden, 30, captured the incredible moment her pack of four rescue canines finally got to explore their new yard in full. Until recently, they had been living in an apartment—which wasn’t without its challenges. Not having a fenced yard meant that Durden and her partner Zack Davis, who reside in Fort Pierce, Florida, had to go out on 45-minute dog walks every few hours to ensure all the pups’ needs were met. Durden told Newsweek their routine was “very time-consuming,” but, thankfully, that is all in the past. Now, Asher, 6, Hades, 2, and 4-month-old Maple and Cypher have a yard all to themselves. The four rescue dogs run around the yard. @sunshinesamii / TikTok “They have been going outside every chance they get,” Durden said. “Since we are in Florida, thankfully they can spend time outside year-round. We have to basically drag them back inside the house now.” Durden couldn’t resist sharing the heartwarming clip on TikTok (@sunshinesamii), and it has delighted so many people. In just a matter of days, the video has gone viral with over 631,000 views and more than 152,500 likes on TikTok at the time of writing. During the footage, Durden can be seen calling the dogs out into the yard for the first time. Once they all realized they were free to roam around, there was no stopping the chaotic zoomies. It was an equally emotional moment for Durden too, who “started to tear up” when she saw how happy her rescue pups were. She said: “The first dog you see come out the door is Maple; she is very shy. That’s why Zack had to try and get her to go out the door. The second dog jetting out the door is Hades; he is a big ball of energy. Then comes the other puppy, Cypher; she is a little fireball and runs with no hesitation. “The last one is Asher, who is normally our grumpy old man. But, since getting that yard and having that freedom, he is a whole new dog. It was such a great feeling to see the life basically coming back to him before our eyes,” Durden continued. Having a fenced yard has been truly life-changing for the whole gang—particularly Asher who hasn’t ever had one before. Indeed, it has become such a hit, Durden is even thinking about getting a dog pool so the pups can splash around and cool off. Since sharing the footage of their reactions online, Durden has been blown away by the response as she never imagined her rescue pups would attract so much attention. “We are honestly shocked. We never thought thousands of people would see a video of us just being silly with our dogs. We are so happy and grateful that we can bring others a moment of joy as well,” Durden said. Many internet users have taken to the comments section to praise the uplifting video, leading to more than 1,400 comments on the post already. One comment reads: “Zoomies unlocked! Every dog deserves to be this happy and loved.” Another TikTok user wrote: “Not sure how much that fence cost you, but the return on investment is trillions in emotional dollars.” A third person replied: “Thank you for giving them such a wonderful gift.” Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? Mets Must Make $88 Million Franchise-Altering Decision In Free Agency

The New York Mets fell short of the postseason this year, and they’re set to watch a few key players head into free agency this winter. Pete Alonso and Edwin Diaz are among the Mets players who could leave town this offseason. Both are projected to land big contracts, but Jim Bowden of The Athletic recently projected Diaz would sign a massive four-year, $88 million deal, which is almost unheard of for relief pitchers. Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report recently urged the Mets to do everything in their power to reunite with Diaz this winter. NEW YORK, NEW YORK – AUGUST 16: Edwin Díaz #39 of the New York Mets celebrates a 3-1 win with Juan Soto #22 of the New York Mets against the Seattle Mariners during their game at Citi Field on August 16, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images) “Bit of a toss-up between Díaz and Pete Alonso, and you can easily make the case that they ought to prioritize the first baseman simply because there are so many more closers available this winter,” Miller wrote. “Conversely, the Mets would still have a formidable lineup even without the Polar Bear, while their bullpen situation is looking all sorts of dire if you remove Díaz from the equation. (For what it’s worth, Díaz hasn’t yet officially opted out of the two years left on his deal, so it’s still possible they won’t even need to re-sign him. But we all assume he’s going to opt out.)” Diaz is likely going to land one of the biggest contracts in relief pitcher history, and the Mets are one of the only teams that can afford it. But they’re going to need to beat out teams like the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers in this free agency sweepstakes. The Mets can’t afford to lose their star closer. Blue Jays Pushed to Keep $75 Million Starting Pitcher This Winter

The Toronto Blue Jays made one of the best trade deadline acquisitions this summer, and the presence of Shane Bieber has helped the Blue Jays get to the World Series. It’s undeniable what kind of impact Bieber has had on the roster as he has been dominant in almost every outing for Toronto. However, he is set to become a free agent at the end of the season. That complicates things for the Blue Jays who could either be riding off into the sunset happy as can be or mad at the world for losing Game 6 and Game 7. Bieber will have a lot of possible suitors this winter, such as the San Francisco Giants, and Kerry Miller believes the organization should keep him around. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – OCTOBER 28: Shane Bieber #57 of the Toronto Blue Jays throws a pitch in the second inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers in game four of the 2025 World Series at Dodger Stadium on October 28, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Harry How/Getty Images) “Shortstop Bo Bichette is the bigger name and may well be the one they prioritize this winter,” Miller wrote for Bleacher Report. “However, if we learned anything from Toronto’s first two postseason series, it’s that this offense still packs one heck of a punch even without him. Meanwhile, if that rotation loses all of Chris Bassitt, Max Scherzer and Bieber this winter, whether they have the arms to run it back again as AL East champions becomes questionable, at best. And unlike the Red Sox and Yankees with their big free agents, Toronto might not be able to afford Bichette if his eight-year, $186 million market value is legit. (Though, if Bieber’s six-year, $146 million market value is also legit, that’s also probably too much. That projection feels way too high, though, at least in number of years.)” Toronto simply can not afford to lose the three of the pitchers mentioned above. Losing two of them would be difficult enough to retool the rotation, but losing all of them would be a significant blow to their success next season. Of the three names mentioned, Bieber certainly has the most upside and potential going into next season and beyond. Bieber’s contract is expected to be a $75 million deal over three years which would set up an average annual value at $25 million per year. That’s the going rate for starting pitching in today’s game whether the Blue Jays like it or not. Given how impactful he has been to the roster this season, Toronto would be wise to pay him what he is owed. More MLB: Yankees Could Cut Ties With Jazz Chisholm in ‘Infield Restructure’: Report
