Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Redcliffe, QLD. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, completing tax returns, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional duties include assisting with budgeting and forecasting, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations to enhance financial performance. The role involves regular communication with clients to understand their financial needs and address any inquiries. Qualifications Proficiency in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and account reconciliationStrong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisExperience with accounting software and tools such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooksAttention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong communication skills for client relationship managementBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CA qualification preferredPrevious experience in a public practice or professional accounting environment is advantageous
