Role Description Travelers Street™ is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Colombo. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, processing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional duties include reconciling bank statements, preparing tax filings, budgeting, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Preparing Financial StatementsStrong understanding of Tax Filing, Compliance, and Accounting RegulationsExperience with Software Tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or other accounting platformsExcellent Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail, and Problem-Solving AbilitiesEffective Communication Skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a teamBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are a plusExperience in the tourism and travel industry is advantageous
