Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (Zoho Experience Preferred)Company Overview:Yez Fuel Trading is a petroleum trading company with operations in import, export, and trade of petroleum, petrochemical products, lubricants, and oil derivatives. The company's is trading in gasoil and comprises of logistics business as well requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Manage all accounting operations, including daily financial transaction recording, journal entries, and bank reconciliations using Zoho Books or similar ERP/accounting systems.- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) as per IFRS and UAE statutory requirements.- Handle accounts payable/receivable, supplier settlements, and trade-related payments, including management of Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and other trade finance instruments.- Oversee inventory and stock accounting for each shipment and trade contract (including FOB/CFR costings) and maintain cost and pricing records.- Administer and process payroll (WPS), employee reimbursements, and statutory contributions in compliance with UAE labor laws.- Ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance: prepare, file, and coordinate required returns and documentation with the UAE Federal Tax Authority.- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate quarterly and annual audits, providing all necessary financial data and reconciliation reports.- Support business process automation, data migration, and systems integration with Zoho and related apps.- Maintain compliance with company policy and UAE regulatory frameworks (including FTA, Free Zone, and Ministry guidelines) and advise management on updates or required changes.- Prepare financial, management, and analysis reports for budgeting, forecasting, and management review.- Manage and initiate banking, payments and daily statements.  Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred)- Minimum 5 years accounting experience in UAE, preferably in petroleum or trading sectors; proven expertise with Zoho Books is preferred.- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT/corporate tax, and inventory/cost accounting for trading companies.- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a high-transaction-volume environment. - Good communication skills to coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal teams.Salary Range and Benefits:- Competitive salary in the range of AED 10,000–12,000/month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.- Benefits: UAE visa, annual leave, medical insurance, annual air ticket, performance-based bonuses, statutory end-of-service benefits, and professional development support.
