No matter where you work in the Maples Group, you will be part of a global team.The Opportunity / Who We SeekWe are looking for an accomplished Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team as part of our financial services business in the Cayman Islands.The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our Cayman team you will:this role will also be responsible for coding, entering and processing all accounts payable and coordinating payments to vendorsfiling and scanning of accounts payable, cash receipts and bill edits;liaising with vendors where necessary on invoice queries and collection of cheques;entering all incoming cash receipts into the system and allocating accordingly;liaising with banks on any transaction queries;preparing bank reconciliations;assisting with month end and year end reporting and preparing non-routine analysis of specific accounts as requested.What You BringIn addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:possess a completed DEC level education at a minimum.Relevant experience in a similar role would be a great asset.Benefits & RewardsThe most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal relationships.
