Accounts Payable OfficerA well-established organisation in Cayman is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a small, close-knit finance team of three people. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable functions and supporting the smooth operation of the finance department.Baraud has a long-standing relationship with this client, having successfully recruited into this Finance team on several occasions. Therefore we have a strong insight into the team and also the long-term career opportunities on offer with this company.Caymanian, permanent residency and status holders’ applications will be prioritised. Salary for this role is circa CI$3,500 – CI$4,000 per month. Key Responsibilities:Process supplier invoices, staff reimbursements, and expense claims accurately and on time using QuickBooks and the company’s internal software portalPrepare and reconcile payments (cheques, transfers, and online payments)Maintain accurate vendor records and manage supplier queriesAssist with month-end closing procedures, accruals, and reconciliationsSupport the Finance Manager with ad hoc accounting tasks and monthly reportingEnsure compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role with 3 years of experience in working with QuickBooksDegree, Diploma or recognised qualification in Finance or AccountingStrong attention to detail and accuracy – this is imperativeExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a small team environmentHow to Apply:Please click the link and apply or alternatively send your CV to recruitment@baraud.com with the subject ‘Accounts Payable Officer’(Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
