Job SummaryWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vice President, Compliance to join a leading global financial services firm based in the Cayman Islands. This is a senior-level role responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, acting as Compliance Officer and MLRO, and supporting both local and global compliance initiatives. You’ll be joining a close-knit compliance team that values integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities and DutiesAct as Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for regulated entities in the Cayman Islands.Ensure compliance with all local statutory and regulatory obligations.Maintain and update internal policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.Monitor and review compliance operations and execute regular compliance reviews.Liaise with local regulatory authorities and assist with audits and inspections.Provide regulatory guidance to business divisions and advise Boards of Directors.Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and boards.Support global compliance initiatives in coordination with Group Compliance.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.3–5 years of experience in the Trust and Corporate Services industry.In-depth knowledge of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance frameworks.Prior experience as a Compliance Officer and MLRO, including regulator engagement.Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and risk management capabilities.Benefits and PerksCompetitive salary and performance-based incentives.Opportunity to work with a globally respected financial services firm.Supportive and inclusive company culture with a strong emphasis on teamwork.Exposure to international compliance frameworks and cross-border collaboration.Professional development and career progression opportunities.Access to wellness programmes and employee support initiatives.Modern office environment in a central Cayman Islands location.Flexible working practices where applicable.This role is only open to Caymanian candidates and only suitable applications will be considered and contacted.
